A normal day can change in an instant maybe in a good way, maybe in a bad way one can never tell until it happens and sometimes you can't tell until years later. Now something good may come out of a bad day even if you don't see it at first.
To put it simply, I've had many bad days compared to good days I've had more bad but if they led me here then I can't complain too much I had the one thing I've always wanted love. And I don't mean the romantic kind, well a little, but the kind I mean is family people who care and want to help if I knew that this was what all my bad days would lead to then I would gladly go through it all over again if it meant I got this little bit of happiness that changed my life completely.
Setting my blue pen onto the desk, I gave a soft smile closing the book standing up. The chair beneath me screeching almost in protest to me getting up. My lazy ass agreed with it, but someone had to make breakfast and sadly it was my turn. I winced slightly at the sound looking over my shoulder and the lump under the covers sighing in relief once I realized my husband wasn't woken up by the stupid chair I chose. Carefully I made my way over to the bed and lightly kissing his head a soft smile still present on my face as I quietly made my way out of the room. Rummaging through the fridge, I started preparing pancakes; those happens to be my favorite breakfast food of all time, luckily for me we have all the ingredients.
As much as I wish this story could start out right here me making breakfast early in the morning for my wonderful husband and amazing family living a happy life already married. It just wouldn't be fair to skip the whole story for the happy bits. That's not how life works you don't get to skip out of all the hardships you have to endure and that's not how this story works. Let's jump back to the beginning, shall we? Allow me to set the scene:
It was a normal day in ninjago people going about their lives as usual The ninja could be seen not training like normal but playing video games but this was usual of a saturday afternoon. "I told you! I am the master of this game!"Jay yelled at Kai their game consoles in hand playing a street fighter game."No way you're beating me again."Kai yelled back at Jay competitively both wanting to win the game and best the other."My moneys on Kai."Cole whispered to Lloyd having just walked into the room a few seconds ago leaning on the back of the sofa watching the two go at it in the game."My money would have to be on Jay." Lloyd replied whispering back knowing Jay was better at this game. Cole rolled his eyes jokingly not believing him "Zane what about you?"Cole asked turning to the nindroid "Lloyd has chosen the most logical choice considering that Jay has already beat Kai several times." Zane stated not looking up from his book to respond to the earth ninja.
"WHAT!! You cheated Jay" Kai yelled to Jay accusingly throwing the remote to the floor seeing as the TV screen now showed Jay to be the winner"No, I'm just better at this game than you."Jay retorted back. "Hahaha pay up Cole!" Lloyd said with a smug look on his face. "We didn't shake on it, and no price was established" Cole said defending himself "I'm going to get some cake."
"I call a rematch!" Kai yelled pointing to Jay "You're on!!"
All of them were completely unaware of the dangers lurking beneath the city of course none would know anything- oh wait never mind they just burst from the ground. Quick steps reached their ears as Nya burst through the door to the room "Guys we have a problem." Nya says worriedly, "really I was just about to beat Kia again," Jay whined."as if!" Kia yelled.
"Yes, something to do." Cole says tired of watching Jay kick Kia's ass in street fighter game.
"What is Nya?" Zane asked concerned all of them standing up now.
"Is it the serpentine or the stone warriors?" Cole asked.
"Nither," she answered quickly "what is it?" Lloyd questioned."that's the problem. I don't know"she said the worried look growing on her face as they ran into the main room where the monitor was "Whatever it is it moves fast really fast." Kai says looking at the monitor
"Who cares what it is let go kick its but!" Jay yelled determined now.
"Then let's go!!" Cole yelled just as they were about to leave Sensei Wu walked in and looked at the screen his eyes widened in recognition and not the good kind immediately turns to the ninja to warn them "Wait don't go. This enemy is differ-" he started but was cut off. As they left the bounty.
The ninja and samurai left not knowing what they would see would be with them for years and years to come and who they would meet along the way both friends, enemies and some rivalry. Some of whom they will meet would be with them for years and years to follow as well.
