Wooyoung walked to the bathroom since he was sure his face was red and he knew he needed to calm what he was feeling in his heart because he was sure the evidence of how he felt about Yeosang was written all over his face.

Wooyoung still couldn't believe he had a boyfriend now. A boyfriend who made him warm and happy. He'd been rejecting him for so long because he was confused, but now that he had accepted Yeosang his mind felt clear, and he was excited for all the things Yeosang could do to him to make him happy.

Wooyoung was blushing like a tomato now, but he found it strangely uncanny how his mother walking in on them in that position just before didn't faze him too much. He was embarrassed but he was calm.

That being said his mothers opinion did still matter to Wooyoung and he was upset that that moment had broken her impression of Yeosang.

But then would she ever really accept Yeosang as his boyfriend anyway? Probably not. Maybe that was why it didn't faze him, because he knew that by being with Yeosang he was already breaking his mothers unwritten rules.

Wooyoung splashed his face with water and when the emotions he was feeling inside had simmered he went to the kitchen to his awaiting mother, mentally preparing himself for whatever she had to say.

Wooyoung had barely taken one step into the kitchen when his mother spoke. He got no 'good morning' or ' did you sleep well' like she usually asked when he came into the kitchen in the morning. Instead he got:

"That boys no good for you Wooyoung"

Wooyoung found the statement ironic since she didn't know that he and Yeosang were dating, the statement was purely from a friendship point of view.

"Why?" Wooyoung said as he poured himself a class of juice from the jar on the bench, trying to keep a straight face and steady his shaky hand.

"You two were fighting Wooyoung, I don't want to see fighting under my roof. He's clearly the type to stir up trouble. I was willing to take his quiet behaviour for just shyness but after your little episode he looks like he's plotting something"

"P-plotting something?" Wooyoung couldn't believe what his mum was saying, her words hit Wooyoung hard and he felt himself growing defensive because this was his boyfriend she was talking about "Why would you think that, you don't even know him? He's done nothing wrong"

"Done nothing wrong? That boy looks like he's having a bad influence on you. I raised you to be a good boy Wooyoung, a boy that talks out his problems, not fight over them. You should know how to pick your friends and you shouldn't be calling that boy a friend"

"I'm perfectly capable of picking my own friends and there is nothing wrong with Yeosang. He is my friend" Wooyoung insisted

"Wooyoung how do you expect me to accept him as your friend if you've never even mentioned him before? Clearly he's not that important since I've never even heard of him" She took a sip of her coffee before continuing "And how rude of him to show up uninvited and unannounced at our house" she tsked

Wooyoung couldn't deny the fact that he'd never mentioned Yeosang before, because he hadn't. It's not like he could go to her and say "Hey mum I kissed a guy at a party and now we work together and he's always touching me and stuff but I kind of enjoy it, and hey now we're dating, Surprise!" she'd literally loose her shit.

But condemning him because he showed up unannounced? Now that was uncalled for. Wooyoung was sure Yeosang had only planned to 'pop in'. Yeosang staying was purely based on circumstances. Yeosang had insisted that he would leave even in the rain, but it had been his parents that were adamant that he stay.

"Showing up unannounced shouldn't be grounds for judgement" Wooyoung said, doing his best to keep his voice steady. "He only wanted to check in on me"

"No Wooyoung, just forget about him ok, I know what's best for you and I've seen his type before, he's no good. I'd be telling that boss of yours to fire him, you shouldn't have someone like him hanging around"

"Bu-"

"Don't argue with me Wooyoung, just get rid of him. I don't want to see that boy in our house ever again and that's final. Now come sit and have some breakfast before church"

Wooyoung had forgotten it was Sunday, he really didn't want to attend church today.

Wooyoung grumpily took a slice of bread from the toaster and buttered it, resisting the urge not to stab the butter or his bread because he was now upset.

"You should be lucky your father wasn't awake to see your little dispute with that Kang boy, he wouldn't have been able to leave on his two feet!"

Wooyoung gritted his teeth. He was now angry at himself and he was angry at his mother for trying to tear them apart before they'd even began and she didn't even have all the facts.

She was purely basing her judgement on his 'quietness', his and Yeosang's 'dispute' this morning and less than a couple of hours of having Yeosang under her roof.

Wooyoung hated to think what his mother would think if she knew Yeosang was gay and was the reason why her son was now gay, her impression of him would drastically worsen if she knew those facts.

If she did know that then Wooyoung could justify her response, but right now she had no right to judge someone she didn't even know and she had no right to shut Yeosang out of his life.

Wooyoung finished his breakfast in silence, his mother throwing him disproving looks every five seconds.

As soon as he was done he dropped his plate in the sink and decided to head straight for his room.

Wooyoung tried to keep a passive face as his father walked into the kitchen just as he was trying to leave it, as to not alert him that anything was awry. His mother would tell his father anyway and Wooyoung didn't want to be there to hear her complain about and belittle Yeosang.

Once in his room Wooyoung aggressively put on his church clothes and sat in silence on his bed until it was time to go to church.

His happy mood gone and now replaced with annoyance towards his mother, and dread towards what his father would say about Yeosang. Wooyoung knew that he'd agree with his mother, and Wooyoung didn't want to have to listen to what his fathers opinion of Yeosang was.
