Luna's POV:
Gasp, gasp, gasp!
I ran as fast as i could through the forests.
A huge beast, a beast that covered the nights sky with its whole body, that's how big it was.
It was chasing me.
My clothes are ripped, my knees were scabbed, a huge wound on my stomach that made my stomach bleed, and my eyes that are red from not sleeping and constantly feeling scared.
How long have i been running nonstop? A few days? Months?
It's tiring, but that beast was the most terrifying thing i have ever seen.
"RAAAAWWWWRRR" the beast made the whole forest- no, he made the whole world shake just by his scream.
I covered my ears, falling down on my knees and wincing as i shut my eyes closed, just how loud and massive could this monster get?
My eyes flutter open and i look around my surroundings.
Everything is black, there's nothing to see.
My fragile body started shaking, i've been running for such a long time that my body has become corrupted.
"Queen Lucia." A voice echoes through my head.
I froze, how...
"You are to be awakened, however..."
I widen my eyes, is this a dream? My imaginations?
"That beast that you have been running away from, is your fears. I have never seen a fear this big."
Just what is that voice?
My fears?
I kept gasping for air that I couldn't even talk, i was out of energy.
"What has made you this scared? You were known as the Queen who has never shed a single tear. The mighty Queen who did not need a man, the queen who has built up a whole empire all on her own, was about to become an empress yet decline to be. What is your fear, Lucia?"
"My..." i gasped for air.
"My fear... is..."
"Everything i have done is the wrong decisions, all i have done was for my people and yet at the end i have become no one. A queen is just a name that people fear. No matter what i did, my people were praising me and expected more. Yet i have been wearing a mask- a mask that hid all the blood that i have slaughtered..."
I went silent, my heart thumping out of my chest as my vision began to blur.
"Then consider this your second chance. Lead people once again, but this time in the right way."
I grit my teeth "i just want to see papa and Keegan"
"I see... do you wish to go back to the world you are currently in?"
"Yes" i cough out blood, i'm too exhausted from running for so long.
"Until we meet again then, Queen Lucia"
"Until then..." is all i said as my eyes closed.
