Shit , I cursed out loud . My shift started at 8 am and I'm literally just turning into my jobs parking lot 30 minutes late . I don't know how my alarm didn't go off and then tryna rush to Jaylen to school my damn car wouldn't start so I had to wait to get a boost . Already off to a bad start , I reached in my passenger seat and grabbed my laptop bag , phone and purse and hopped out and hit the alarm on my key . I really don't have time for my supervisor Brian and his lame ass speeches about "punctuality and the importance of it " I work my ass off sometimes I come in on my off days and don't leave hours after my scheduled shift has ended so Brian can kiss it honestly . I finally made it to my desk without running into Brian's ass . Thank God ! I opened my emails to see that we had 2 meetings today and I had a shitload of reports to turn in before 5 . I quickly checked my time on my Apple Watch and saw it read 8:45 . My first meeting didn't start till 10 a.m so I had time to get started on some of these reports till then . I grabbed my phone and put on my work playlist on Apple Music and started on my work . Before I knew it I checked my time and it read 9:50 . Shit , let me head to this boring ass meeting " I said out loud locking my computer . While I walking into Brian's office I bumped into none other than Deja's ass . I honestly didn't even know the broad still worked here . I thought she woulda been fired by now . Just as I was about to walk in the office I caught Deja giving me the stank face looking me up and down . "Dumb bitch , I mumbled to myself and proceed to walk into this hour boring ass meeting . After what seemed like fucking forever our meeting was over with and I headed back to my desk to finish up some work before lunch . Just as I made it to my desk I received a text message from Desirae .

After texting Desirae back I unlocked my phone . "Let me go ahead and get this shit over with " I said out loud to myself as I sat down to finish my reports . About an hour and a half later our front desk receptionist Courtney came walking up to my desk . "Heyyy girl you got a delivery at the front " Courtney said smiling . "Delivery ? what you mean , I don't remember ordering anything " " Well they said your name hunny so come on so we can see what it is you know I'm nosey as hell " Courtney replied . "Fine , lets go " I replied laughing . Courtney and I have known each other since our junior year of high school and she still crazy as hell after all this time . As we walked to the front I stopped when I saw Desirae standing there holding a pink and white teddy bear bouquet and a box of dipped berries as she stood there scrolling in her phone .

"Mmhmm ", I said clearing my throat . "Oh my bad ", she looked up smiling and said revealing her bottom grill . Damn why she gotta look so good. Chill Fat ma , I thought to myself as I felt myself starting to become moist . "What you doing here , I asked her . " Oh dang no hey , I was just hoping this would make your day go by a little smoother ", she said while handling me the teddy berry roses and bouquet . "Aww thank you , you know pink is my favorite color " ."Yeah , I know " she said while licking her lips . " Whatever , you ain't cute " I found myself saying slightly blushing ." " Yeah iight , big aye you got any plans for lunch tho , lemme take you out to grab a bite to eat so we can talk , no funny shit ." "Hmmm" I bit my lip as if I was thinking hard . "Come on Nique man " she pleaded . " I guess Desirae , 2 o clock don't be late and no funny shit " I told her . "Iight I gotcha ma , no funny shit , she said throwing her hands up in surrender " .Okayy I replied . " "Alright beautiful I'll see you at 2 , I gotta head out and pick up Ari " she said while leaning in to give me a hug . Fuckk , she smells so good I thought out loud while taking in her Armani fragrance . "Okayy , tell my lil boo I said hey " , I told her . " Heard you " she said and then walked away . "Bitchhhhhh , Courtney said before Desirae could even get into her car good . "What crazy "I said laughing already knew what she was bout to ask . "Who tf was that and why she so damn fine . " " That's my ex girlfriend Desirae she just tryna get back on my good side . " Bitchhh , I didn't know you was into girls , tf I missed .?! " she asked . " Well she was the first and only woman I've ever dealt with on that level " I replied . "Ain't none wrong with that I've been known to dabble here and there but babyyyy her fine ass might make me rethink Rashad's tired ass . " she said fanning herself . "Alright now , she's off limits "I told her laughing . "I'm just playing bitch , how long y'all was together what made y'all stop talking "Courtney asked . "Almost seven months , and it's a long story I said rolling my eyes . "Damn well whatever it is I hope y'all figure it out , y'all cute together bitch . Courtney added . "Yeah who knows , but let me get back in here before Brian aggravating ass come looking for me . I told her . " Alrightt girl , ima catch up with you to see how that lunch went she said laughing . " Okay girl I said laughing headed back to my desk . I finally made it to my desk and sat down to finish these reports before lunch . I turned my work playlist on and unlocked my laptop . I wonder what Desirae got up her sleeve I thought to myself . I shook off the thought and then started in on the rest of my reports . About halfway thru I got a missed call and text message from Desirae letting me know she was outside . I checked the time ,2:15 , shit I had lost track of time , my lunch had started at 2. I locked my laptop and grabbed my phone and purse and headed to the front . "I'm sorry I was busy , I'm coming out . I texted Desirae on my way out . I finally made it to the front reception area to see Desirae parked out front and standing in front of her car scrolling on her phone .. "Alright girl don't do nothing I wouldn't do "Courtney joked on my way headed out the door . "I won't I promise" I replied laughing back . Finally made it to the car . "I'm sorry I lost a track of time trying to catch up on some of work I told Desirae . "It's okay I understand you ready beautiful ? she asked while opening my car door . " Yes I smiled and placed my hand in her hand so she could help me in the car . Thank you I told to Desirae After helping me in the car and then making her way back to her seat . "No problem , so what you got a taste fa " she asked . It doesn't matter what you in the mood for ? "Oooh what I want ain't on the menu "she said licking her lips . Shit see there she go wanna start I thought feeling my panties get moist . " Whatever , lets just go I said lightly blushing . She turned on Jacquees trip and then sped out of the parking lot letting the sounds of music lead the way to the restaurant.
