Letting Go

I was trapped I knew I was,
I could only hear silence. Everything was dark ,musty and cold
I was in an abyss, lonely deep under the sea. The Twilight Zone. 
I realised I was floating down,
going further and further down..
I was going deeper until I could see the sunlight glistening on the surface of this vast, and desolated ocean...
So enchanting. So soothing.
Then, suddenly I was going up, A force I couldn't ignore pulling me up to the surface. I saw your hand...
A light in the darkness reaching out to me....
Like a moth drawn to light, I stretched out my already shivering hand to grasp your hand of light....
The hand pulled me out. It was warm and assuring, I felt myself instantly relaxing...
I reached out towards the sunshine ,
then I saw you bathed in golden sunlight, my saviour...
You were beckoning me to come closer, when I came close you pointed up to the heavens...
I finally realised it was time to let go of my dark and dreary past.
You were an angel, who was leading me to the heavens..
I was reluctant to come out of this cold depression...
But when I saw you, I finally decided to let go of the past and to go forth on my venture to the heavens.....

I Was Finally At Peace.....At Last....

first of all thanx for reading this...
I was just inspired to write about this ..idk I felt in the mood I guess..please excuse my errors...it's my first poem/para/emotional breakdown or whatever idk really wht to do with my life... this is just how I felt I guess... this is not a story..it's JUST a one page thing...I just wanted to try my best at this whole writing thing...I hope u guyz did support me..*nervous laughter*
