"Bernieee......I don't know what to do....." 

With face planted on your friends kotasu, you groaned as you and Brenadtta were trying to get the next chapter of her hardcore erotic manga finished. Oh, what a lovely way to start a career.
"Well...maybe if we could get some research material....?" The said woman said from her side and the glint in her eye.
"I'M NOT BUYING MORE PORN!" You yelled out to her.
Bernadetta slumped.

You are a mangaka artist/writer but also a police officer. Today was your day off and you wanted to take this time to relax. That was until Bernadetta freaken called you in a panic mode that her deadline was close and she needed help to pull all nighters. Curse but also bless your kind heart. 
"I wish Byleth could help us...." you internally thought. 
Byleth...your older brother. He passed away two years ago from a confrontation with one of the 3 main leaders of the 3 most feared mafia gangs. 
You were there. Your idiot self chose to go after him and he died during the shoot out trying to protect civilians. You screamed and cried as you held him in your arms, pleading that he would not close his eyes. First it was your father, Jeralt then your Aunt Rhea, and now your older brother......it hurts....it really did. You looked down at the necklace your brother gave you. It was a beautiful pendent that had your families clan mark, called The Crest of Flames. There was also your aunt Rhea, who unfortunately passed away 5 years ago. Your cousin Flayn and Uncle Seteth were alive along with two more uncles of yours. The Serios Police department your family owned, to protect the city of Fodlan. You sighed and saw Bernie look at you worried. 

You remember the look of horror your Uncle had when you told him you wanted to become a police officer and work with him in investigating the three main mafia houses, to find the reason why their leaders killed your father, aunt and brother. Seteth protested against it but you were stubborn like your mother.
"Let's take a break." Bernie said as she got the TV control and turned on the TV.
Right on the news channel it was already it.

"Another 5 victims have been discovered today by the Serios Police Department. It has been confirmed that they are indeed, once again members of the Adrestian Mafia. One of three most feared gangs." 

"Ooohhh.....everyone is afraid to go out at night. News of that serial killer.."The Moonlight Lion" has traveled all over the city. Do be careful...ever since The Adrestian Mafia has declared war on all of Fodlan....it's just became far more dangerous at night. Even the police department are having problems." Bernadetta said as she switched the channel to Adult Swim.
"Oohh!! Demon Slayer is on!!" She said excitedly.
You sighed and stood up.
"I should be heading home now. It's getting late." You sighed and went to the kitchen to grab your purse and gun you carry. 
Strapping it on and making sure it was hidden by your shirt, you put on you coat.
"Take care (Y/n)!! Be careful out there!!" Bernadetta said.
"I will. I promise. And if find my body one day, burn it to ashes." You joked.
"(Y/N)!!!!" Bernie screeched as you laughed and said goodbye.

You sigh as you drive through the road. You lived about 20 minutes away and were peacefully listening to music on the radio until your headlights picked up a car parked in the middle of the road and slammed your breaks on your car.
"WHAT THE HELL??!" You screamed angrily and carefully opened just your window.
"HEY BUDDY!!!! WHAT THE HELL?!?! MOVE YOUR CAR BEFORE I GIVE YOU A TICKET!!" You yelled out.
No, nothing. You growled and stormed out of your car, to their window.
"Hey!" You slammed your hand on the side of their door.
"What?" Was all you heard as they made their window go down. 
You sigh as your recognized who it was.
"Hubert, what the hell are you doing here? Seriously!!! Honestly, I'm glad to see you since it has been 5 years but seriously?!!"  You motioned your arms to the car.
Hubert had grown quite a bit. He was a former classmate of yours from the class your brother used to teach. So, seeing him suddenly made you happy but also, some strange feeling in your stomach arose. His eyes travelled to your necklace.
"I see you still have that necklace Professor Byleth gave you." He said with a smirk.
"Yeah yeah, whatever. Can you please move your car? I'm trying to get home." You said.
"On the contrary, you don't need to head home." He said.
"Pardon?" You said.
The feeling was starting to get worse. His door unlocked and he stepped out.
"I been ordered by Lady Edelgard to take you with us. For your safety of course." He said.
You took a step back and started heading to your car.
"You know what? I'm gonna head back the way I originally came from." You smiled crookedly.
One step he took and you bolted to your car, slamming the door closed, locks in and turned that fucker on as your wheel screeched and you backed up fast and sped off.
