"Millions of people would kill to be me." Clara smiled a little, looking over at the Doctor. "Its amazing... the things we see, it's something beyond my wildest dreams."
The Doctor's eyes bored into Clara's soul. "You said you hated me no less than a week ago."
"I thought we were over that." She said in a calm tone. "Look, I'm sorry. You insulted Danny, he means a lot to me."
"That puny soldier? You did see him make fun of me, right? Clara, what do you see in him?" He said, just above a whisper.
"He's... I shouldn't have to explain myself to you." Her voice was still unusualy calm, folding her arms across her chest.
"Fine." He turned away, walking towards his tardis before turning around. "I'm leaving."
Clara stood up straight, heading towards the Doctor who was a few steps away from his flying phone box. "What... what do you mean leaving? Where are you going? How long will you be?" Her voice was now panicky and uneven.
He paused when he got in,"I shouldn't have to explain myself." Then slammed the door, his TARDIS disappearing with him.

"Still caught up with that Doctor?" Danny appeared from behind Clara, who jumped a little.
"No, Danny, I'm not." She said, flattening out her skirt and tucking a stray hair behind her ear.
She spun around as Danny took her covered wrists into his arms, to which she flinched slightly. "Clara, I love you, yeah? You don't need that freak."
She ripped her wrists back from his grip, angry with his choice of words. "Right. I know." She said, starting to walk away.
"What's your problem?" He snapped, following her.
She stopped in her tracks. "Nothing is the problem. Why would there be a problem? I have you and I love you." She gave a weak smile to Danny who just nodded.
"I have to get to math." He said, quickly walking towards his classroom.
"Yeah, you would." Clara muttered to herself, spinning around and walking into someone. "Oh God, I'm so sorry." She then looked up.
"No, it's all right." The Doctor smiled at her.
"What do you want?" She asked harshly, practically spitting her words at him. "You left me, remember?"
"Look, I'm sorry, Clara. I needed some time and you needed some time-" he was cut off.
"No. Doctor. I needed you. Not time." Her voice was outlined with immense sadness and hurt.
"Well, I'm here now. Does that not count?" He asked, smiling at her.
"Whatever, Doctor. I have to go." She paused, looking at him. Then walked away slowly, stealing glances from him now and then.
She left the Doctor standing there, staring at her as his mouth was slightly ajar.
He looked down quickly,"Goodbye, my Clara!" He yelled to her but she didn't look back. "Goodbye... my impossible girl."
Clara almost fell, she gulped and looked back to him, frowning.
