CHAPTER 6
"Don't think too much." The Doctor said to Vedee.
"I can't avoid it." I quickly replied. As long as possible, I want to be true and honest to my Doctor and that is the right thing to do, it's for our baby.
"What I am trying to say is that, you will not really feel it for now but that's just for now." And me, being worried can no longer hide, it is very visible.
To think that it will be our first baby and I want to do anything not to lose it, of course it is really risky and we should put extra concern on it.
"As might be expected, you will not feel it right away." She made it clear to me.
"Don't panics babe, I'm sure everything will be just fine." Jameson gave me a rub on my back and kissed me on my forehead.
"Okay then." I immediately fixed my bag and made sure I did not forget anything.
"Just go back here whenever you need anything, but if it is not necessary then you can leave a message on my phone." I became calm and I know I will be safe through out.
"Thank you, Doc." I smiled and gave her a tap on her shoulder.
"No problem Vedee. Here's my calling card and the other informations below." And this is good. At least she is one text away.
"We will go ahead now. See you in a few months!" My husband ended the conversation and went straight to outside the hospital.
"Where are we heading now?" Jameson gave me a look and waited for my answer.
"I don't actually have an idea." I replied plainly while looking from afar.
"Do you have any cravings?" His fingers are showing out one by one as if he wants me to suggest some foods to eat and drinks to buy.
We walked towards the car and is still planning for what will happen next. Everything is really strange and it still surprise me everyday.
"Yea? Can we at least go around the city?" I went close to the car on the passenger seat's part and he opened the door for me.
"No problem! Let's hop in and stroll around." I hopped in and I closed the door gently.
As he get to the other side of the car, I thought of our conversation with the doctor again earlier. I am really preoccupied but I don want to be burnt-out.
"Hey, what's the matter?" He reached to the driver's seat and started the engine.
"Nothing. I just thought back to what conversation we had earlier." My eyes looked down to the matting of the car.
"You're so bothered. i can feel it." wool-gathered I look like.
"Yes of course. I want to have this baby and be really successful delivering this angel." I lifted my head up high and faced it towards him.
"No doubt my love. We... we will do it together okay? We can do this because we will be a good parents to our children." I took a deep breath and I hugged him as he gave reassurance to me.
"Promise?" I whispered to his ear.
He let go from our hug and he gave me a kiss on my hand, he whispered "Promise."
Everything went good and I felt secure whenever I'm with him. He drove straight to the road slowly and checked for every fast food, restaurant, cafe and kiosk that we may buy on.
