CHAPTER 7
They ended up in a Milktea shop. They stood in front of the lane right next to the costumers ordering in front of them just like what they are doing. Picking, choosing and planning what drink they want to buy.
"Strawberry and Cream..."Vedee uttered.
"Blueberry Milktea..."Jameson replied.
"Coffee Jelly Milktea..."
"Salted Cream Wintermelon Milk Tea..."
"No... I'll have Salted Caramel Milktea."
They were just both looking at the menu on the top part of the cashier where the big menu is positioned.
"Then I'll take Blueberry Milktea." And Jameson looked at Vedee right away. They reached to the front which they need to tel their orders already.
"Good Afternoon, Ma'am and Sir! May I take your order?" The girl asked the both of them and faced them with a smile on her face.
"Yes please. One Salted Caramel Milktea and Blueberry Milktea. Both Less Sugar and both less ice." Vedee sprightly ordered their drinks.
"Would that be all?" The girl asked again.
"Do you have anything else, babe?" Vedee asked Jameson for final suggestions he would like to add.
"Probably none." and Jameson was just playing with his phone when he replied.
"That would be all. Thank you!" Vedee responded immediately and smiled.
They payed for their orders instantly and looked for the area where they'll be comfortable to rest for a while.
"Let's go to the grocery after this. Let's buy our needs for the following weeks." Jameson right away opened up their conversation with a question while they are dropping their things to the table and chairs.
"Yes, sure. Let me just list down what we need to buy later so we will not be consuming too much time walking around there. Okay?"
They are taking turns. When Jameson is suggesting, Vedee agrees. Vice-versa. They are really compatible with each other. They don't argue that much and understand each other as long as possible, not only fo the baby but also not to make the small situations big and complicated.
"Sure babe." Jameson simply replied while he's busy with his phone.
After a few minutes, their order has come and they enjoyed each other's company. They talked about the things they argued way back when they were in college and shared their feelings to some certain experiences they had.
"It was really funny after all." Vedee realized right after so many years that has passed.
"Yea! Imagine, we argued so many times because of that person." He is really into the topic, he is venting out so much of what they experienced before and how they went through it.
"You made me so jealous with her. What do you want me to think?" And she rolled her eyes to Jameson and sip to her milktea.
"She's just my friend I told you hundred times before." They are both hitting each other in their shoulders but this time, it is lighter yet it is still full of laughter.
"Yes I know. Proven." Vedee became serious and looked straight to Jameson's eyes.
"Exactly. You are the one I married."
"I love you babe."She spoked gentle to Jameson while she was holding Jameson's hand.
"I love you too."
