chapter 21

He gives me a big hug. He was warm and I felt comfortable. Everything felt right. He pulled away but kept his hands around my waist, he gave me a quick kiss. "Have a good day Y/N." All I could do was smile, I nodded and told him the same. He put on his face mask and left my apartment. Once I knew he's far from my apartment and he wasn't coming back, I flopped onto my coach and cuddled a pillow. Why do I miss him already? I lazily grabbed a remote and turned on Netflix. I just wanted to pass time and only wait for Jihoon to come home. My vision began to go in and out and I eventually fell asleep on my couch.

Jihoon's pov
I tried to quickly get to pledis so I wouldn't be late and be yelled at by our boss. I checked my phone and saw that I had plenty of time. I stopped jogging and just walked the rest of the way. I eventually got to Pledis and plenty of time to spare. I took off my mask as I entered the studio and quickly got to work on the music we need to make for our new album, that is coming out in a couple months, depending on how fast I can makes some bops. Some of my bois enter the studio and see how I'm doing. "Hey, got anything so far?" S.coups asked. I gave him a weird look. "I just got here, man. I have nothing so far, I'm just brain storming." S.coups nodded, "alright, well yea, that was a stupid question." He lets out a light chuckle. "Look, I just need some time alone working on this." S.coups nods and drags the rest out as well. S.coups peaks his head through the door and knocks lightly "Imma get the boys warmed up and practice some old songs, we'll check up on you in 2 hours." I nodded and gave him a thumbs up and went back to work.

S.coups, as promised, came back in two hours to come check up on me and the music. "Hey, how's it coming?" He sat next to me and leaned forward, propping himself up with his arms on his knees. "Okay I guess, I have part of a song so far. It's pretty up beat." I gave him a sample of what i have and he bobs his head a little while listening. "That's great! keep going on that!" I smiled and nodded. I went back to work as S.coups left to go handle the small children.

Y/n's pov

What the hell is vibrating? Oh shit. 
realizing someone is calling me, I immediately shoot up and start searching for my phone in the blankets tangled around me. Panic fills me and shakes me awake. Once i find my phone I answer, not seeing who it is.
"Hello?"
"Hey Y/n!"
It was Jihoon. My whole body relaxed and i felt relief.
"Hey! how's work?"
He chuckled at my formality. "It's going, i finally finished a song, I didn't expect you to answer, since it's like, 2am haha"
I laughed with him until what he said registered. "it's 2am?" confusion laced my voice and words.
"yea, you didn't notice?"
"No, I guess I slept all day." I look up at the TV i left on an sure enough the 'do you want to continue watching' screen was up on Netflix. 
"Are you okay Y/n? I can take a break and come over." he was worried. I could tell. 
"i'm okay, i guess I just needed some sleep" I shrugged it off, i wasn't too worried about it but, I knew that wasn't going to stop him from worrying. 
"you sure Y/n? i'm more than willing to come over to take care of you"
I chuckled and shook my head. I know he can't see me but it felt like he was already here. "i'm fine, just keep working okay? I don't want you to get behind on work." all i could hear was a heavy sigh.
"once i'm done with the second song i'm coming over to check on you." 
I laughed and nodded, forgetting he isn't right in front of me. "alright, fine." I could tell he was relieved and probably just trying to find any excuse to leave and come see me. 
"well, i'll get back to work then. Take care of yourself Y/n." He was still worried, no doubt.  I will never be able to change that.
"alright, I will. Don't overwork yourself okay?" A light chuckle and a pause was all I heard.
"no promises but, i'll try just for you"
I smiled. He knew how to make me feel happy for no reason, to cause butterflies and for me to be shy and to hide. 
"Alright, i'm gonna go back to work, bye Y/n. I'll see you soon."
And with that, he hung up. I just couldn't help but smile. I put my phone on the coffee table in front of me and got up to make a small 2am snack/dinner. I rummaged through the fridge and tried to find anything that was worth eat. Nothing seemed too interesting  and I know I was too lazy to cook anything. I searched more, just in case something magically appears in my fridge. As i searched, I found the one thing that would feed my appetite. I immediately grabbed it and ran back to the living room to monch away. I made myself a little nest out of blankets and pillows from the couch. I felt protected and secure. I felt calm for once, without him at least. I was curled into a ball in a nest while eating the holy fruit. I decided against netflix and went to youtube and to watch whatever came up into my recommended. 
As i finished eating the beloved food, i become a little sleepy and dazed. I was finally feeling tired after mindlessly watching youtube and eating. i took care of my garbage and headed back for the couch. I wrapped myself in a cocoon with the blankets and as soon as i rested my head on the pillow, i fell right back asleep.

Well hello there, it's been awhile. Chapters will probably be coming out a lot slower then they should be. I've kinda fell out of kpop and it's becoming really hard to write but I really don't want to just leave this open with no ending. I'm gonna try to do this, it may take awhile, I apologize but, this story will not end without a proper ending. I hope y'all are enjoying this. to make up for lack of chapters, they will start becoming longer. i'm trying to am for AT LEAST 1000+ words. I hope everyone is staying safe as well. Try and stay positive :)
