So, Aiden bought everything he said he was going to and helped me set up everything. I couldn't play anything tonight because everything had to download. He made sure to download the game I was playing earlier, which I learned was called, 'Call of Duty: Modern Warfare' first so that it would be downloaded by tomorrow night.

After we set up my new phone, which is a LG thinQ G7, the first thing he did was add his name in the contacts. He informed me that the more I play the phone, the more I'll learn about it. It was a cute phone. He even bought a case to put on it 'just incase it gets dropped' his words.

He taught me how to use the camera and we took a lot of silly pictures together. And even some normal ones.

We stayed up and watched a movie before getting to work on some newspapers to find my parents. I showed him the locket I found with my last name and Aiden says I look a lot like my mother.

"Do you remember your mother's name?" Aiden asks me as he begins looking through amber alerts matching my description.

I nod. "My mother's name is Elizabeth Gallegar and my father's name is Martin Gallegar."

We search for a few hours before I sigh and toss the papers in front of me. This was aggravating. Why would anyone put out an amber alert about their mermaid child? They would obviously know that I would be in the water.

"Isn't there an easier way to find someone?" I ask Aiden.

He chuckles. "Yeah, I suppose we could look on the internet since this doesn't seem to be getting us anywhere."

I glare at him. "Why didn't we do that to begin with?"

He shrugs. "I didn't want anyone to see that I'm searching for Elizabeth and Martin Gallegar because then they might wonder why."

I nod, taking in his words. Then I smile as I hold up my phone.

"No one is going to look through my phone." I tell him.

He smirks. "Pretty and smart.. I like it."

I throw a balled up piece of paper and smack him directly in the forehead. His mouth dropped open and I smirk back at him.

Then I remembered.

"What time is it?"

"You know your phone has the time on it." Aiden teases as he picks up his phone to check. "It's almost six. So, we should get you back to the water. I'll try to find something about your parents today."

I get up and hug him tightly. He hugs me back just as tight.

I run to the bathroom and quickly undress. I wrap a towel around my body tightly and walk out.

Aiden's eyes fall down to my towel and then back up to me. He clears his throat and avoids all eye contact.

"Ready?" He asks me. Although it looks like he's asking the ceiling...

"Yeah, let's go."

We walk out the house, and since he lives in a house on the beach, I just walked straight down.

I take the towel off and hand it to Aidan. His eyes widen before he turns quickly away from me.

"Later, Aiden!" I say as I run toward the water.

"Oh, my gosh, Bambi! I thought something happened to you!" Aqua swims quickly over to me and pulls me into a tight hug.

I look over to see Aquarius shaking his head. "I just figured you found some way to break the curse."

I shake my head. "Not yet."

Aqua hugs me once again before saying. "I actually have to go so I'll see you later today, okay? Marcus asked me out and I said yes!"

"Have fun!" I tell her.

She does a little mermaid sway in excitement before yelling back,

"I will!"

Aquarius and I chuckle at his crazy sister.

"Well, I guess it's just you and me." Aquarius says with a smile.

I nod. "Yeah, so, what do you want to do?"

He grabs my hand and we swim out of the gates to their little underwater town. We don't swim to far away before we get to where he was taking me.

There was a nice big rock that was big enough for two mermaid to sit on, which is what we did.

"What are we doing?" I ask once I got comfortable.

He shrugs. "Just sitting here."

I snack his shoulder. "Well, I know that."

He chuckles before turning his body to face me. I don't say anything as I look up at the sky, mainly wondering what Aiden is up to. Did he find anything on my parents? Does he miss me like I miss him?

"Bambina!"

"Yeah?" I ask looking over at Aquarius.

"Did you hear what I said?"

I shake my head. "I'm sorry, I'm just tired and I spaced out. What were you saying?"

"I was saying, that I like you, Bambina. You're beautiful, your funny, you like to eat and that's hot, I just... I know its selfish, but I don't want you to break the curse." Aquarius tells me.

I sit up and look down at him in shock. I honestly didn't know what to say to his words. At first, yes, I questioned whether or not I wanted to break the curse but after spending the night with Aiden after not seeing him for a whole month, I realized that I didn't want to be a mermaid anymore. I enjoy spending time with Aiden and eventually, he's not going to want to hang out with me anymore. He's going to grow up and fall in love and forget all about me. He won't be able to just leave all night long to come hang out with a merhuman.

Aiden is my human and I don't want some silly curse to keep us from being friends.

"Aquarius, I like you, too but, only as a friend. I need to break this curse so that I can be with my family again. I'm really sorry." I tell him, giving him only half the truth.

He nods. "I understand."

"I have to go get some sleep so I'll see you later today?" I ask.

He smiles up at me. "Of course, beautiful."

I smile back before swimming off to get some sleep.
