Sometimes it's hard to accept reality. Moreover, it's almost impossible to ever truly embrace your destiny and calling. Wyatt Halliwell knew that little detail better than anyone. And as he watched his brother slowly being tortured by the greatest evil of all, he grew hopeless wondering how our world was so dark and cruel. He also wondered how any force of light could ever expect him (and his family) to be the thing that scares away darkness. It seemed impossible that anything could overthrow it. Chris Halliwell screamed in agony, blood dripping from his chest, pleading for his brother to do something. Even pleading for his cousin, who was unconcious to wake up.
