Eddie POV
"Eddie! Where is Richie taking Georgie?" Stan asks as I sprint downstairs.
"It's not Richie! I think something is controlling him. Come on, we have to call the others!" I say, grabbing my phone and dialing Beverly's number.
Richie had taken Georgie a second ago and Bill just chased after him. I make my way to the front door and open in, Stan close behind me as I exit the house.
"Hello?" Beverly's voice comes through my phone.
"Bev! Get to Bill's house, now!" I say and then I hang up. Then I dial Mike's number. He picks up on the first ring.
"What's up, Eddie?"
"Bill's house. Now."
I hang up again and turn to Stan.
"You stay here, I'm gonna go after Bill and Richie," I say, and he shakes his head automatically.
"No, Eddie, don't go by yourself! Let's just wait for Bev and Mi-"
"No!" I say firmly. I turn on my heel and chase after where I saw Bill disappear. My years of being on track finally come in handy, and in no time I hear his voice.
"Georgie! R- Richie!" He calls out. I follow his voice and it leads me to what is probably the creepiest place ever.
The house on Neibolt street.
Bill is about to run up the steps, but my voice stops him.
"Bill! Stop!" I call after him, but he doesn't listen. He barely casts a glance my way before he continues up the stairs. I hop over the gate and chase him as he enters the house. Once I reach him, I clutch the back of his shirt. Neither of us speaks as we walk further into the house. The first thing I notice is the smell. I cover my nose with the back of my hand to block out the stench of death and decay and mold. It's obvious this place as been here for a very long time, because of the cobwebs and dust that cover every piece of furniture. Every step makes a creaking noise. We hear a commotion coming from below us. I spot stairs that lead down there and I go ahead of Bill to go down them. Richie is down there, I have to reach him. This whole time I've been focusing on Bill and I nearly forgot that the love of my life was possessed and apparently kidnapping children.
The first thing I see when I am downstairs is Georgie, floating. The basement is dirty and dark, and the smell is even more suffocating here.
"Bye-bye, Richie."
When I hear those words, it's as if my eyes are reopened. I see Richie, standing in front of a well and Pennywise standing right in front of him. Time slows as I watch It push Richie into the well. I can't move, I can't think, I can't breathe. How deep is that well? Is he still possessed? What's wrong with Georgie? Why can't I move? Is that fall going to kill Richie?
I'm pulled from my thoughts- literally- when someone grabs the back of my shirt and pulls me back upstairs. I lose my footing and fall down once I reach the first floor again, and can only watch as Bill runs down the stairs.
"Georgie!" He yells, and I scramble to my feet. I won't let this happen.
I won't lose all three of them.
Once I'm back in the basement, I watch in horror as Pennywise grabs Georgie by the foot and they float down the well. Bill tries to jump in after them, but I run forward and wrap my arms around him, yanking him backward.
"Let me g- go! I have to s- s- save him!" He screams, desperately trying to break I my grasp. By the time I finally let go, he is breathing heavily, and his hands grip the edge of the well as he stares down into it. "Georgie..." He says weakly. I put a hand on his shoulder.
