I would love the idea
Of temporal death.
People say sleep is temporal death.
I do not agree.
Yes, the soul attains temporary freedom.
But the mind remembers little of it.
I would love a trip
With my mind and soul
While not in my body.
I want to remember everything
And smile about it over coffee.
Maybe it won't be pleasant.
But not everything has to be nice.
Yes, it would feel better.
But we don't deserve everything we want.
