Our Little Nindroid

How it all started

Crazy! No intro!

The ninja and the samuri had entered the digiverse again and were trying to fend off another evil virus.

"Give it up virus! It's seven against one!" Jay yelled as he ducked under one of the viruses tenticals.
"Never!!!" The virus screamed
"Try using our combined powers!" Kai said as he shot a wave of fire at Virus. Zane tried to hit Virus with his ice but Virus blocked it with one of his tentacles and shot the other one at Zane. The ice ninja was too slow to react and the tentacle got a direct hit on his right arm and throwing him against the digital wall.

When Zane opened his eyes he felt a burning pain on his arm and when he looked at it he could see his internal wiring.he also noticed some purple mess all over the wound. He tried to get up but each movement was agonising. Pixal rushed to his side to see if he was okay.

"ZANE!? Zane are you okay!?" She panicked
"Yes, yes I'm fine." He lied as he tried to get up. It was a futile attempt because the pain was so unbearable that he just fell to his knees again and winced in agony. Pixal reached into her pocket and pulled out a roll of bandages. She then wrapped it around Zane's arm hoping to help the wound heal.

"Thank you Pixal." The nindroid said when she had finished. He tried to get up again but the pain was really bad still. Pixal held his arm stopping him. "Zane. You are too weak to fight right now. You need to stay here." Zane solimly nodded and sat back down. Pixal stayed with him until Nya called out to them.

"Hey! We could use a little help over here!" She said dangling from Virus's tentacle. Pixal ran over to Virus, swords drawn, and Zane sat there clutching his arm. He feared that this injury was far worse than they thought.

When Virus was eventually defeated the ninja all ran over to their injured teammate and tried to help him up. Pixal hoisted him up with his right arm and Kai held his right arm as he limped back out the digiverse.

"It's gonna be okay buddy. I'm sure your arm will heal as soon as we get out of here." Jay said reassuringly
"I hope so." Zane said.

The ninja were back at the monastery and Zane wasn't feeling any better.

"How's your arm?" Cole asked. Zane lifted the bandages slightly and the purple still hadn't gone. He couldn't even wash it off or patch over it until it was gone. He was also feeling unnaturally tiered. "I think I'm going to go to bed." Zane said as he walked to his room. After a few hours the others also went to bed.

In the morning the others didn't see Zane up and making breakfast. They assumed he was still in bed so Pixal made breakfast. Once they had finished they peeked through Zane's door but they couldn't see him anywhere.

"Zane?" Jay called "you in here buddy?".

The ninja looked around his room until their eyes fell on something shaking in the bedsheets. Cole slowly lifted the covers and immediately backed away terrified. There, sat in front of them was Zane, but not how they remembered. He looked no older than two or three and the wound had now healed. His clothes had also shrunk with him and he looked more adorable than ever.

"Zane?" Kai asked "is that you?" He reached his hand out trying to reach for the toddler but the ice ninja was too fast and jumped out the way. He flipped off his bed and hid underneath his desk.

"Pix.. what do we do?" Nya asked not taking her eyes off Zane.
"It seems that the wound's effects have healed but following that it has tranformed Zane to a young two year old instead of an adult." Pixal said. surprisingly, almost as soon a as Pixal started talking Zane poked his little head out from under the desk and looked at them. When they looked back at him though he back away back under.

"You get him Pixal. I do t feel easy around young kids." Cole said as he nudged Pixal slightly.
"What, you scared of toddlers?" Kai scoffed
"No! I just worry that I'm scaring them or hurting them and I never know what they want or anything!" Cole said

Pixal bent down to the front of the desk and saw Zane. "It's okay Zane." She said quietly "it's okay.". She held out her arms and, very cautiously, Zane let her pick him up.

When she came back from under the desk the others all crowded around there friend trying to figure out what to do.

"how do we fix this Pixal?" Kai asked
"Tomorrow tea?" Cole suggested
"That doesn't work on Nindroids." Pixal said
"Mabye there's some sort of spell?" Lloyd suggested
"I doubt there's a spell for making nindroids older." Nya said

While they were talking, they didn't notice the baby nindroid walk out of his room and heading towards the kitchen.

"Lloyd. What about your mother? She would know all about this stuff right?" Cole asked
"Good thinking. She's out for the weekend so when she comes back we can ask her about it."
"Uhh guys? Where'd Zane go?" Jay asked and the others started panicking. They rushed out of the room and were calling his name but they couldn't find him anywhere.

"IN HERE!" Kai shouted from the kitchen and they all ran through to see little Zane on the top shelf trying to get to the cookie jar.

Jay immediately took action and climbed onto the counter to get to the shelf. He reached out for Zane but the kid wasn't having any of it. He pushed the cookie jar onto Jay, sending the blue ninja of the counter and into Nya's arms.

"Nice catch." He said
"Don't mention it."
"That kids a menace!" Kai said
"He's almost as bad as I was!" Lloyd said
"I think that's a little to far." Pixal said as she climbed up onto the counter trying to get Zane down before he fell.
"Oh careful Pix!" Nya warned.

Fortunately Pixal's attempt to get Zane down was a success and she scooped him up and landed safely on the floor.

"How come he lets you get him but not me?" Jay wined
"Mabye he likes to be near other droids?" Lloyd suggested
"I think he probably just likes Pixal more." Nya said
"No reason to throw me off the counter." Jay said
"If he's going to be like this a while then he needs to learn to like all of us." Kai said taking Zane out of Pixal's arms. Big mistake.

Almost as soon as he wasn't with Pixal anymore Zane started crying really loudly.

"OKAY HE'LL STAY WITH YOU!" Kai shouted above the noise as he handed Zane back to Pixal.
"He still needs to like all of us." Nya said "he can't just stay with Pixal all the time. What if she needs to go on missions?"
"It's okay." Pixal said "I don't mind looking after Zane but if he's going to be like this a while then maybe we should get some supplies."
"Like what?" Cole asked
"A cot, some pyjamas, baby food, etc." Pixal said
"Should Zane come?" Jay asked
"I think it should be alright." Pixal said
"Do you want to come buddy?" Cole asked Zane. To which Zane blew a raspberry at him getting spit on his face.
"Eww!" Cole said wiping it off "this is why I hate toddlers."
"We are going to have to work on that attitude." Pixal said to Zane who smiled sweetly at her.
"Well we better get the stuff now before he falls asleep again." Kai said
"I don't think he will be sleepy for a few hours." Nya said
"How will we get there?" Pixal asked
"We take our dragons of course." Jay said
"You two can ride with me." Nya said to the two droids
"Let's head time the shopping centre and get this over with quickly." Cole said "I don't want him throwing a tantrum again."
"Let's go then." Kai said summoning his dragon, and the ninja took off to the mall.
