1 Month Later -

      I was standing in front of my new summer high school. The school didn't look like a normal high school, for instance the school from the outside looked like an olden day castle. I stood their looking up at the weird high school and wondered, why it had looked so weird. We had to wear weird uniforms too... I mean they were classy but nothing like a normal high school dress code. This school was also in the middle of no where; which made things a little bit more freaky.      I've even asked people from my last school if they've heard anything about this school and they didn't, nor did there parent even know. I even looked it up on google and nothing popped up... And google has everything. So why is this school not listed in google or in reality?

    I thought, but before anything a whole bunch of red eyed people began walked passed me to get into the high school; while I glanced at the school they all glanced at me in a weird way. They all had red eyes with a black line in the middle of them. They all stared at me like those other people who came to my house a month ago. But why would people in a gang have red eyes? I thought. The only thing's I knew from eavesdropping from that meeting a month ago was that a guy named Victor will be protecting me. But I haven't seen the guy yet and I'm surrounded by weirdo's with red eyes.

I stopped gawking at the school because the people started to creep me out. I think someone was even drooling, while looking at me.... Like... What's wrong with these people? I asked myself while taking a gulp of courage as my feet began to move forward. I very much wished I could turn around and run away. But I had a feeling if I did so . . . all those red eyed freaks would start a hunt and chase after me.

When I entered the school. The school was exactly how I imagined it the inside. The inside of the school looked like a place where olden day princes attended school at. Red rugs went down ever hall of the school, shinny gold pant sat on the walls. As I stood there gawking at everything in the room I had almost forgotten, about the scary people that surrounded me in the room.

" Hey . . . You is it you first time being in a school like this? "

Someone said from behind me. I quickly turned around and found myself faced to face with someone with red eyes. He had wavy curly blondish brown hair and lazy eyes that stared at me. And he had a accent of some kind. He also wore the same uniform as me. I assumed he was in my glass grade, I then rubbed my neck nervously and said -

" Oh . . . Yeah it is my first time here.. "

Saying that I tried to seem not so obviously terrified but the guy smiled and said -

" Cool . . . Well my name is Jake . . . If you need anything I can help ya "

He said as I smiled lightly, I wasn't used to having friends so... I didn't know what to say but-

" Oh thank you Jake . . . And my name is Emjay . . . ah nice to meet you "

I said putting my hand out as the guy named Jake took a step back and said -

" . . . I suggest you keep you're hands to your self while your here Emjay . . . But anyways the Welcoming Ceremony should be held soon; I suggest we get a head start now . . . So we don't miss anything important"

Jake said as I looked at him sorta confused; because honestly he didn't seem like the type who'd  care about silly little class meetings. But if he isn't a lazy person after all, I may consider being his friend. I decided to follow him to where the Welcoming Ceremony was being held at because if I didn't end up follow him. I would probably end up getting lost.... Plus he seems pretty okay to me and I could use him for information on helping me around the school till I find Victor.
