Namjin: How to Make a Cake; Level Namjoon

A/N: Special Chapter since it's Worldwide Handsome's birthday.

*No One's POV*

"Wow, way to not burn the house down this time Namjoon-ssi!" Yoongi says teasingly to the leader as he playfully slaps his back.

"That was ONE time hyung, and I didn't burn the house down....

Just the kitchen." Namjoon says defensively.

"Yeah and you're lucky that the house came equipped with a fire extinguisher for emergencies." Hoseok added.

"Okay, not the point hyung. Yes I'll admit I was just a tad bit careless, but the point is I've learned from then and now I have successfully finished the bottom layer of Jin hyung's birthday cake on my own." Namjoon says prudently as puts on a pair of Koya pot-holders and carefully takes the cooked to perfection cake out of the oven and holds the mouth watering treat up for everyone to eye.

"Holy cow hyung! That smells soooo good! What did you put in it?!" Taehyung asks excitedly, slightly drooling at the delicious confection.

"An extra teaspoon of vanilla for flavor and real strawberries baked into the batter since Jin hyung once told me they were his favorite fruit." Namjoon says, beaming with dimpled pride at his creation.

"Forget the damn icing I want to eat this shit now!" Jungkook practically shouts as he runs over to the cake before being stopped by Namjoon slapping his hand away with a wooden spoon.

"Language maknae! Also I wouldn't suggest eating this cake right now unless you want to be dealing with one hell of a mouth burn later. This thing is hot!" Namjoon explains to the younger who groans in response.

"You know the hypocrisy in this house is unreal! You cuss on a regular basis hyung!" Jungkook remarks back to the leader with an angry face that closely represents that of crinkle nosed bunny rabbit.

"Yeah, yeah. Why don't you make your bunny face useful and stir up this batter for me, I've gotta go chop more strawberries. I think I'm becoming a pro at this." Namjoon remarks confidently as he spins one of the sharp kitchen knives up in the air and barely catches it on the safe side, causing everyone to wince at the close call.

"Uhhh, I'd be careful with sharp stuff like that Namjoon-ah. You don't exactly have the best record for being the most cautious person." Hoseok points out.

"I'll be fine hyung, I literally just did this an hour ago. What could go wrong now?" Namjoon says as he slices straight through one of the strawberries.

"If you say so." Yoongi says back, eyeing worriedly at the leader.

"Thank you. You guys should really just trust me *chop* I know exactly what I'm doing *chop* you've just gotta be extremely careful. *chop*" Namjoon explains as he rushes through the strawberry cutting process all over again.

"Hyung, you're going really fast. Be careful." Jimin says.

"Guys remember what I said, just trus... *slice* AH!" Namjoon exclaims before throwing the knife on the floor as a sharp shooting pain jabs through his index finger.

"Oh my God! HYUNG! YOU'RE BLEEDING!" Jungkook shouts out.

"Really?! I Didn't notice?!" Namjoon says sarcastically as he tightly grips onto his injured finger with his other hand.

"Let me see." Yoongi says as he walks over to Namjoon and looks at the gash in his finger.

"It looks pretty deep. I think I should call Dr. Song to come look at it. You might need stitches." Yoongi says with a sigh.
