Dom stood on the stage doing a soundcheck while Adam tuned his guitar. Nate walked up to Adam.
"Hey, I'm Nate. Dom is letting me backstage for a bit."
"Oh, I know who you are," Adam replied.
"Dom won't stop talking about you."
"Aww that's so sweet!" Nate replied.
Dom turned around, a little confused.
"Huh? What was that Adam?" He started to go red, embarrassed.
"Nothing..." Adam giggled under his breath.
"Nate, pass me a wing will ya?" Dom asked.
Nate chucked him a wing and Dom caught it in his mouth, silently celebrating.
Nate walked up to the microphone, and started to sing Casual Sabotage, just messing around.
As Dom finished his wing, he listened to Nate. When he finished singing, Dom looked at Nate with longing eyes.
"That was beautiful, buttercup. You have to come on stage tonight and sing that with me."
"I'd love that, but I'm not good enough. Plus, my anxiety would go through the roof."
"Nate, your voice is beautiful. Please. For me." Dom begged.
Nate giggled. "Okay then."
Dom's manager walked in.
"It's time to let everyone in. Nate, backstage." He said.
"Okay. Good luck Dom." He hugged him.
He sat backstage, watching the crowd pour in. Dom got changed, and as the beginning of 21st Century Liability started to play, he ran onstage.
"Helloooooo!!" He shouted.
"London, are we fookin ready?"
The crowd shouted back at him.
"ARE YOU FOOKIN READY?" He shouted, louder.
The crowd shouted back at him, louder.
After 21st Century Liability ended, he played King Charles, Parents, I Love You Will You Marry Me and I Think I'm OKAY. He took a break, running backstage to change into a skirt and shirt.
As he ran past Nate, Nate had the urge to give him a kiss. He reached up and kissed the back of Dom's head and whispered,
"You're doing great, buttercup."
Dom turned around, surprised. He got a rush of happiness and it gave him a boost to carry on with the next part of his set. He sung Anarchist, California, Loner, 11 Minutes, Braindead, and Hope for the Underated Youth.
"Now for this next song, I'm gonna need my guitar." Dom shouted to the crowd.
He grabbed a stool and his guitar, and started strumming the chords to Waiting on the Weekend.
Dom sat there, singing it and Nate stared straight at him.
