I'm Sorry, Otouto

Mikey sat in his room, desperately trying not to let the tears slide down his chubby cheeks.

"R-Raph's right, I'm nothing but a mess up...why am I even a part of the team? Why do I have to be so useless?"

Two hours ago...

"Booyakasha!" Mikey cheered as he threw a kick at one of the footbots, making it crash to the ground.

He then started to do a victory dance, thinking that the battle was over. "Aw yeah, we won!" He shouted.

"Mikey, stop messing around!" Leo warned. "The fight isn't over yet!" Mikey then saw more footbots.

He started punching and kicking them out of the way. One almost shammed into Raph. "Mikey, aim for the kraang not me!" He yelled.

Mikey gulped, his smile fading. "Whoops, sorry Raph!" He said, giving his brother an apologetic grin.

Raph rolled his eyes. "Some ninja." He muttered, going back into battle. Mikey heard the insult but shrugged it off.

He quickly began battling more footbots. Donnie grabbed his bo staff and impaled a few of them. Leo swung at them with his katana and Raph punched at them.

Once there was only a few left, Mikey took them on, using his nunchucks. However, as he was trying up the kraang he bumped into Raph...

And knocked his red-clad brother to the ground. Hard. Raph let out a cry of pain, clutching his right leg.

"Raph, are you ok?" Leo ashed in worry, hurrying over to the injured and very angry turtle. Raph growled.

"Do I look ok to you?! I freakin' broke my leg because of screw up over here!" Raph seethed in anger.

Mikey's face flashed hurt but he wanted to make sure his big brother was ok. "I'm sorry Raph, are you ok?"

Raph glared at his apologetic little brother and snapped. "No, thanks to you! You're just a useless ninja!"

"B-But, it was an accident! I didn't mean too...I'm really, really sorry!" Mikey begged for forgiveness.

Raph growled. "Sorry doesn't fix anything! You're always messin' up, why are you even a ninja? You're just a useless screw up!"

Mikey's eyes bubbled with tears. He felt Leo place a hand on his shoulder as Donnie tended to Raph.

"It's not broken, thankfully...just sprained, you'll just need to wear a wrap and you'll be fine."

Raph scoffed as Donnie handed him the painkillers and helped him up, guiding him back to the lair as Raph muttered under his breath.

Tears flowed down Mikey's cheeks as Leo gave him a hug. "It's ok Mikey, don't listen to him...he's just in a bad mood because his leg hurts."

Mikey sniffled. "I'm always messing up...Why do I have to be such a screw up, Leo?" He sobbed harder.

Leo hugged his little brother tighter. "Mikey, remember what we talked about last week? Mistakes aren't a bad thing...it was just a little mishap."

Mikey shook his head. "No it wasn't, I hurt Raph!" He whimperd, tears falling fast. Leo sighed. "It's ok, he's fine."

Mikey didn't respond as he was too upset. They walked back to the lair silently, Mikey softly crying.
