NORMAL//Togaraka//Toga x Uraraka

1: Coffee Shop

Toga's P.O.V.: 

I'd got back from a job a couple hours before, and I needed a little something to keep me awake, so I headed over to Alice's, the coffee shop around the corner from my apartment.

It was a cold and rainy night, but Alice's was close, so I figured I could get there before I get rained on too much.

And boy... was I wrong!

As it turned out, it was raining so hard, that it almost felt like it was hailing water! "Eek!" I yelled as the cold rain quickly soaked through my light jacket and messed with my hair, still in their iconic buns.

I took off down the sidewalk, hurrying so I would make it before I turned Alice's floor into an ocean. Turning the corner, I came to the door and quickly turned the sliver doorknob.

Now, Alice's was started... around five years or so back, when a American foreigner decided to make Japan. Unfortunately, she was a little mixed up. I had helped her with getting the shop set open, so she considered me her friend!

"Hey Alice! How's it going? Rainy day, huh?" I said. 

She responded with, "Hello, Toga. I'm doing great, thank you. Yes, it is pretty rainy today. Chai, cooled down a little, as usual?"

"Yes please! Thanks Alice! Oh! By the way... do you know anyone in who needs to move in with someone, as a roommate...?"

"In fact, I do. Her name's Ochaco. She might be in today, you'll have to wait and see!"

And, a couple minutes later...

A woman with caramel brown hair and big eyes hurried in, like I had. Also soaked, like me.

Little did I know that this would be the girl who would become my roommate...

Or someone more special to me than just a roommate.

Ochaco's P.O.V.:

So... I met this girl today, and her name's Toga!

"..."(this signals the reader is speaking)

How did I meet her? That's quite the story!

I was walking towards Alice's, a cafe I'd heard about from one of the locals. I'd been there a couple times before.

"..."

Oh! Yeah, I just moved here from Musutafu! I was looking for a roommate to stay with!

So, as I said, I was walking to Alice's, when it started raining! 

"R-rain? Oh no... The pages'll get wet!"

*OBJECTIVE ACQUIRED, GET TO ALICE'S*((I went total D:BH, didn't I?))

As you see, I was a manga illustrator! I made this one(ongoing) story called Windheart. It's about this girl, Kaze,  who has a quirk were she can control the wind, like how I can control gravity! 

As it seems, I was holding the next installment of the story, right in my hands, as I had drawn it at the local library, and was going to finish drawing and start inking it at Alice's.

I didn't have it digitally downloaded, so if these got wet or ruined, I'd have to re-draw the whole thing!

At that moment, I started sprinting towards Alice's, which was luckily close. Around half a minute later, I reached the door and hurriedly turned the knob.

When I entered, there was a averaged sized, middle aged, dark brown haired lady behind the counter, with a white and maroon apron. 

The other lady in there was a blonde, my aged(25-ish), girl with double buns. She was wearing a thin black jacket, black tank-top, blue jeans, and amber boots. And, unfortunately, she looked like she'd also been soaked, like I had. She was sitting at the barstools with a view out of the large window.

"H-hi, Alice! How's it going?"

"Hey, Ochaco! Hot Cocoa, slightly warm? Otherwise known as, 'the usual?'"

This made me chuckle. Even though I'd only been there... four or five times, but I'd ordered the same thing. Or that was just her intuition. Both seemed reasonable.

"Yes please! Anything special today? I was just making more pages of Windheart, I'm glad they didn't get soaked!"

She paused for a second, looked over my shoulder at the blonde double buns girl, then replied with, "Well... you're looking for someone to move in with, right?" I nodded. "Well, the blonde lady over there is someone in need of a roommate. Why don't you go talk to her?"

*NEW OBJECTIVE ACQUIRED, TALK TO BLONDE WOMAN*((I called her a lady twice, and now a woman))

I nodded again, and went over to talk to her, and see if I could be her roommate, and her friend!

"H-hi! I'm Ochaco! What's your name?"

She looked at me, and said in a sweet voice, "Well, Ochaco, I've heard about you! You can call me what everyone calls me. Toga!"

After our greeting, Alice brought our drinks, I talked about my manga, what I like to do(todo-), that kind of stuff. She talked about what she did, that she was running behind on rent, and what she liked to do(Todo-).

She asked me to move in, and we're friends now!

*Timeskip, to later that night, back at the motel Ochaco's staying at.*

I opened the door to the room I was staying in, and walked to my bed, after changing out of my wet clothes, into dry pjs, and setting down my drawings in a safe place.

I laid down and covered up, comfy as I could be. I was lucky that I had been in a relatively nice motel, because I usually needed a good rest after the day's end, especially today.

I thought, "What will the future bring me? What will even... tomorrow bring me? Well, if anything..."

"It'll be something good!"
