3: Gifts(Holiday)

(Sorry that this chapter is so late! Honestly, I kind of forgot about the book a little... this chapter is for Christmas of 2019!)

Ochaco's P.O.V.:

"Bye, Deku!" I said excitedly, as I parted ways with my old friend.

"Bye, Ochaco!" he said back as he turned and started walking away.

I waved at him, then also started walking towards home. The sky had cleared of rain a while ago, and the stars of the recently come night were... breathtaking.

They created a amazing place that some have thought to only to exist in imagination. Somewhere I definitely wish I could've thought up! 

'Maybe I should draw this when I get home... or I'll go visit Toga!' I thought happily as I strolled though the lush forest. 

It was almost Christmastime.., but it stayed warm most of the year here, as I was told. What should I get Toga? I didn't really know her that well, but she definitely liked soft things...!

I figured out a plan to get her something while enjoying the scenery, thinking up what I should do...

Third-Person P.O.V.:

Little did young Ochaco know that someone-a special someone at that-was watching her whole encounter with Izuku, and started to get jealous, thinking that Ochaco liked him, and not hearing the fact that Izuku wasn't one for liking girls...

Guess that's what happens when you're an ignorant secret yandere type... 

Toga's P.O.V.: 

I was walking around the city, thinking of where to get a Christmas gift for Ochaco, when I saw her entering Horikoshi's Park.

"..." 

How did I know it was her? She's the only person this close to the park, who'd wear a hot-pink raincoat when it wasn't raining that badly.

'Ochaco...? What's she doing here? Maybe she likes nature? If I follow her, maybe I'll get an idea for her present...?'

I continued on, walking a slightly far distance from her, for about an hour, watching her admire the beautiful nature in the park, named after one of the greatest heroes of all, Horikoshi. Well, he was a hero in his own way. He was a manga illustrator, and an anime animator! I think Ochaco was inspired by him, if I remember correctly...

Anyways, I walked until she sat on a bench, and then, a couple minutes later, I saw someone very familiar walk over...

'Deku Midoriya?!'

~Timeskip to the present~

Occhaco's P.O.V.:

I headed out of the park, back to civilization, away from the amazing, lush forest... 

'I'll miss it, but I can always come another day! Now I have to find something for Toga,' I thought as I was strolling through the night.

'Well, she's quite the cook, so maybe a cookbook? Or we could get baking lessons-well, that one might be a bit out of my budget-' I was, once again, lost in thought!

And in doing so, I didn't notice someone, in fact, the very person I was thinking of a gift for, right in front of me! And with that, I walked straight into Toga!

"O-oh! Toga! I-I'm sorry! I didn't see you there..." I waved at her and smiled, blushing slightly out of embarrassment, trying to act like I hadn't just run right into her.

"Hey, Ochaco... it's okay, I didn't see you there either!" She also seemed a little embarrassed, likely me running into her! I felt a bit bad that I hadn't been watching what I was doing...

"H-how are you doing?" She asked, sounding normal now.

"Me? I'm great! I went to the park, and I saw Deku there! He's one of my old friends from high school, in fact, I actually used to have a bit of a crush on him, until he told me that he doesn't exactly swing that way. We talked for a while, and he told me about how he was doing, how Todoroki, his boyfriend, was doing..." I paused, having a realization.

"O-oh gosh, I started rambling, didn't I? I'm sorry, spending so much time with him, I seem to have picked it up from him, though I try not to..."

"It's cute, I like it." Toga whispered to me. 

Well, imagine you're me, and someone says that, someone that you really like, and you're internally freaking out, what would you do?

If you said, 'Be speechless, blush a lot, confuse you crush,' you're more like me than you know, because that is exactly what I did...

Toga's P.O.V.:

I had been just casually admiring Ochaco from afar, and I had been thinking of what I would get her, when she crossed over to the opposite street, the one I was on. She seemed to be lost in thought, staring at the ground.

As she crossed over, she ran right into me! Of course, I panicked a little, hoping that she hadn't thought that I was stalking her... because, well...

Anyways, she walked into me, frantically apologized, saying that she was sorry for running into me, and that she didn't see me. I said that it was all okay, and that I hadn't seen her either, even though I had.

She, uh... started rambling. About Deku. Yeah, I remember him, I had a crush on him in their first year, but I've gotten over him since then. He didn't swing my way anyways, but I'm glad that him and that hot n' cold boy worked out. But I still love the color green... 

"It's cute, I like it," I whispered to Ochaco's ear. She went bright, and I mean bright red. And silent.

"Uh... Ocha, you okay? You look a little..." I replied to her silence.

"Huh? O-oh, I uhm... Just surprised I g-guess! I uh... how do I say this... I- I kind of... like you!"
