Wonwoo sighed, sharpening his katana. These days were rough. They haven't eaten properly in weeks and the chances of survival were constantly getting slimmer.

"You alright?"

He looked up to see Joshua leaning against the doorframe, stripped down to his shorts already. Wonwoo could only assume that the heat was really getting to him.

"Yeah, just a little frustrated."

Joshua nodded and sat next to him, pulling him into a hug.

"You can always sit this one out, y'know."

"And leave you and Gyu fending for yourselves? I'd rather get bitten to death."

"Seems like you already were." Joshua remarked cheekily, pointing out the amount of mosquito bites his dongsaeng had.

As they started to doze off, Mingyu had burst into the room, a scared look on his face.

"Hyungs! They're here! They're everywhere!"

"Already?" Wonwoo grabbed his weapon and ran out of the room and onto the balcony of their treehouse.

Like Mingyu had said, the zombies were all over the forest.

"How are we gonna do this?" Joshua clung to Mingyu, a scared look on his face.

"I've got an idea!"

"You do?"

Mingyu nodded before speaking.

"Won, stay on the ground and take out the left side. I'll handle the right side. Shua can shoot them from above. Got that?"

His boyfriends eagerly nodded before hugging each other close. God knows if this is the last time they'd ever see each other alive.

"Good luck." Joshua smiled as they disappeared down the ladder. He sighed and said a quick little prayer before grabbing his gun.
