Mattia x Kairi Oneshots

50s au (part 2)

I wasn't planning on making a second part, but I was inspired by Mattia's recent greaser tik tok so here you go. Warning! There is some homophobia, but he gets his shit rocked so don't hate me. And lastly, there is an important author's note at the end of this so please read till the very end.

When the boys had left the school that night their time together was filled with aggressive flirting, greasy diner burgers, and heavy makeouts in the outskirts of town where they knew nobody would spot them.

For the next couple of weeks, they snuck around as often as they could with most of their dates consisting of Mattia picking up fast food before getting Kairi and both of them spending time together in their secret spot in the woods. They would listen to music and eat while they talked and teased each other before spending the rest of the night with their mouths glued together. Other times Mattia would sneak his way into Kairis's room late at night and tried his best to suppress the smaller boys giggles as they fooled around.

But as time went on they also had times where they would get together and just enjoy each other's company. Some nights they sat in Mattias hot rod, getting lost in time as they talked about school or other common interests. And some nights when Mattia would find himself at Kairi's they would just cuddle or read comic books in silence. Both of the boys put on tough acts around school, but (although they would never admit it) when they were together they both would show each other their softer sides.

For the rest of the school it was like nothing had happened since the homecoming game. On the Monday after the game, Kairi was hammered with questions from his closest friends, Roshaun and Alvaro, wondering why he never showed up to the diner that night. Before he could answer they spotted the hickeys on Kairi's neck and assumed he had gone home with some girl that night. From then on when he went out with Mattia, he lied and said he went out with some chick.

When Mattia was asked about that night he told his fellow greasers the same thing, that he was out with some chick. All of them congratulated him, but later during lunch, Alejandro pulled him to the side. He had a hunch that Mattia had actually gone out with Kairi because he caught Mattia staring at him in the halls days prior to Mattia and Kairi's first meeting. When Alejandro confronted Mattia, the taller boy denied it saying he only got close to Kairi to mess with him. Although Alejandro didn't believe him, he dropped the subject.

For Mattia and Kairi, those weeks were pure bliss. They were able to meet with each other and grow their relationship but not have to share their love with the rest of the world. They knew that they would be outcasts if anyone found out, not only where they a greaser and a jock they were also two guys. Everyone would turn against them.

It started as a normal day for both boys. They had gone to school separately and had quickly made eye contact in the halls, but they didn't dare talk to each other. They were extremely careful at school and never looked at each other for too long in fear that others would notice. There was only one time that Mattia had pulled Kairi into a closet during class, but that's a story for another day.

It wasn't till the end of the day when both the boys ran into trouble.

Kairi was walking out of the school with Roshaun and Alvaro, the trio planning to go to Kairis house and hang out that Friday evening. The soccer season was over and the boys were ready to relax and focus on school for the rest of their senior year. But then Kairi heard his name being called.

Kairi stopped in the middle of the parking lot and turned around. He saw a large group of guys approaching him, led by the football captain. Usually, all the jocks in the school stuck together and supported each other throughout their respective seasons. But this year the captain of the football team was a grade-A jackass named Bruce.
