An Important Talk About Ships

Okay, we need to talk ships. I have a system when it comes to ships, and I feel I need to explain it to you.

So, my ships fall into two different categories: canonical or fanonical.

Basically, if I ship something canonically it means it's a ship I want to, and think it could, happen in the show.

If I ship something fanonically, it means, I don't think those characters would ever get together in the show, but make a cute couple. These are ships that I enjoy in fan art and fanfiction.

An example of  something I ship canonically is pre-reveal Adrienette. There is a chance they could get together in the show, and they make a cute couple.

Things I ship fanonically are like when I said in my description that I hate ships of people who haven't talked to each other, or would not like each other in the show. An example would be Lukloe (Luka x Chloe).  I cannot see them getting together in the show, but I love the idea of them as a couple, and I ship them through fanart and fanfiction.

Pre-reveal Marichat is another good example of something I ship fanonically. Frankly, they don't like each other and have their own crushes, plus when Marichat happened in Weredad, both sides despised it. This ship would never sail in the show.

However, I will admit it is a cute ship, and I like the whole hero and damsel in distress thing this ship implies. I like the fanart and the fanfictions of them.

Here is a list of my ships

Canonical:

Pre-reveal Adrienette

Pre-reveal Ladrien

Any post-reveal love square ship.

Kimlix

DjWifi

Ivan x Mylene

Fanonical:

Pre-reveal Marichat

Pre-reveal LadyNoir

Lukloe

Kagami x Nathaniel (Since Adrien and Luka are taken, I can see Kagami falling for the shy artist, but she'll be a total tsundere about it.)

Lukanette (In the show NEVER. Adrienette forever. But in fanart and fanfics, especially ones Adrien x reader ones, this is a cute ship)

Yeah, some of the fanonical ships are stupid, but that's the point. Ships that would probably never happen, but could be good.

Hope you enjoyed, and understood my shipping process.
