Death would be more merciless... but it's never the answer.

"You could have told me..." soft, sympathetic words are spoken. Yet, hearing his voice hurts more than anyone else's.

"How'd you find me?" forced laughter escapes red lips as sunglasses are slipped off smoothly.

"How many times are you going to run away?" orange eyes can't meet gray ones. "Because... you know... it's really tough to track you down when you escape into another country." the silver haired man laughs awkwardly.

"Didn't ask for you to come." a fire tongue shoots back, haughtily.

"If you loved me... then you should have told me..."

"Would you have loved me when your eyes were on Rose?"

For a moment, he hesitates, it's the truth... he wouldn't have. Via clenches her hands into fists, a heart that is so close to her grasp, but not made for her. Why was it so unfair?

"Via... I did love you. You know what's unfair? Seeing you with the blonde because he's all you've ever loved." it's a big blow.

And it feels like the world falls down again. The wrong timing, the wrong people, the wrong life. "Well, I guess we've missed our chance." and a forced smile, yet still angelic adorns the beauty.

Soft lips push onto hers and for a moment, she wonders if it is a dream... but if it is... she could grieve later. Hands on her waist held her to him firmly and fortunately, prevented her from practically falling in disbelief as she melted into his arms.

"Don't say that and please don't run away again. I hate when you do..." he murmurs as the orange haired girl stares back at him, her eyes shining with excitement and disbelief.

She hates it too... because for a moment she was lost in the mountains rubble, but now she had been dug out.

"I love you..."

"I love you too..."

And slowly, but surely, she knows that her heart that's been shattered one too many times will mend as his hands hold hers.

Orange and gray may not match at first... but it will.

She'll make it.
