"If you're not going here by your own then I have no choice but to pick you up."
The words that I have read earlier the reason why I am standing in front of him, while he just sat there staring at me, emotionless.
I feel forced and helpless.
When I got home yesterday, I rushed inside Grandpa's room and saw a lot of his letters for me. I'll read some of them later at home but for now, all I know is this job is true and the man in suit staring oddly at me is my new boss.
"Good day Byun Baekhyun. How are you?" Park Chanyeol said it like he mean it.
"Can I be honest?"
Park nodded.
"I feel like I'm being forced to work here and it's not right just because my father left letters for me." I said staring sternly at him. He still looked composed. I was expecting his brows arching and glaring eyes towards me but nope.
He's composed and just sat there relaxed while I feel terrible that my late grandfather might get mad if he heard me.
"Are you interested in history?" He stands up from his black swivel chair and just hearing his slow but audible footsteps of his black and shiny shoes made me cower in fear.
I don't know why I suddenly felt scared but it might be his emotionless facade that is making me feel this way.
"Your bloodline has been serving me for centuries in this house since the beginning of humankind. Your great ancestors and I has a bloodpromised to serve me till the end of time in return, I'd spare their lowlives because of what they did to me." I swallowed dry not moving an inch as he leaned his face closer to mine.
Bloodline? Centuries? My ancestors of what?
"What- What are you talking about? How absurd that you need to make up stories just to have someone working for you. You're crazy." I said and I quickly regret saying so when he stepped forward.
I stumbled backwards.
I was about to fall on the tiled floor but he grabbed my arms and I felt like my energy was sucked the hell out of me as I moaned and gasped under his touch.
"Let me go... What are you doing to me?" My energy is draining drastically. I didn't know why but it has something to do with his touch.
Park's eyes widened as he studied me and his grip on my arms.
One moment I was about to fell on my knees but I held onto him and I felt like my strength flowed back into me. Our eyes met and that's the only chance that I get to see him irritated.
--
The office he gave me was huge compared to my bedroom. I also have my own comfort room and a pantry and a TV set straight to my desk.
After observing the whole office, I sat on the couch and bored my eyes at the ceiling.
After of what happened earlier, he brushed me off by telling me where to go inside this mansion while turning his back from me.
I feel exhausted. Maybe because of what happened earlier. It's weird and freaky but I did feel that it's because of him.
There's a large window in the back of my swivel chair. I wanted to sit on it while waiting for the sunset but I rather sit on this velvet white couch and think of various reasons why I should do this.
"Grandpa, why did you leave without telling me about this beforehand?"
He never mentioned he was working as an assistant of some rich, peculiar, weird but handsome odd man.
