Feeling The Aster

3rd POV
Earth-1

Raven teleported herself and the two broken villains back into the living room and found all of the members of M'gann's team rubbing their heads and groaning.
"Ugh...... I guess this is how it feels to be hungover, huh?" Wally asked pinching the bridge of his nose. The Titans helped the team get back onto their feet and Kori went to Robin, who was still pinned to the wall, and helped him down.
"I am sorry if I caused any lasting damage, are you alright?" She asked him clearly remembering a different Robin from a different time. He rubbed the back of his head and nodded.
"Yeah..... I'm feeling the aster." This earned a confused look from the Titans and Superboy butted in adding,
"It's kinda like an inside joke, you kinda had to be there." Just then M'gann floated over to him, pulling him into a hug.
"Connor! I'm so glad everyone's safe, are you ok?" She yelled placing a hand against his cheek. He chuckled and responded,
"Other than the flashbacks to Cadmus and a headache for the ages? Yeah I'm fine, feeling the aster." The two of them kissed and Raven found herself glancing at Damian who was talking with Artemis about her trick arrows. He must have noticed he was being watched because he glanced past the archer and met Raven's gaze. She immediately looked away, turning her attention back to the two Psimons.
"So.... not to ruin the mood or anything but.... what are we supposed to do with these two?" She asked nodding in their direction. Aqualad approached them frowning.
"We will need to learn his plan, Miss Martian if you would." He gestured for M'gann to come stand next to him. She walked over and placed a hand against her temple and held her other hand out towards the villains before them. As her eyes started to glow green Wally chuckled and said,
"You'd think that at some point Psimon would realize that every time he messes with us he gets brain blasted. I mean he took us to a different universe, teamed up with his literal doppelganger and he still got brain blasted. I mean come on man, stop trying already!" Robin laughed and M'gann dropped her hand, the green glow from her eyes fading.
"I don't think he can, his mind, both of them, has been fragmented nearly beyond all salvaging but what I could get from them was that they were serving an employer, or possibly a master I couldn't quite tell. But when it's all said and done Psimon wasn't working alone." A chilled hush fell over the room.
"Well it looks like we'll have something to look into when we get back." Robin said his normal smile fading from his face. Kaldur nodded and all of them froze hearing a cold and familiar voice from the doorway to the destroyed room.
"Someone needs to start explaining." Everyone turned slowly to see Batman and the entire Justice League glaring at the two teams. Kori and Kaldur shared a responsible look and both stepped forward.
"I believe that would be our job." Kaldur said with a small smile. While the leaders explained the events of the past few days Damian slipped through the small crowd and grabbed Raven's forearm and leaned close to her ear murmuring,
"Now would be a good time for that discussion." She momentarily considered coming up with an excuse to get herself out of the situation but after meeting his serious jade eyes she nodded and allowed herself to be lead out of the room. Damian lead the two of them through the tower up to the roof before releasing her arm and pausing withhm his back to her. They stood in a heavy silence for a minute until he turned to look at her seriously. He sighed and removed his mask causing Raven to step back a little out of pure shock, he never removed his mask, in fact she hadn't seen him without it since that night on the pier. He flapped the mask around a little before looking her in the eye and asking,
"So..... the kiss, care to explain?" She cringed and took a deep breath to organize her thoughts.
"Well... if what you were saying about Psimon making it so that I couldn't get out psychically I'd have to get out the old fashioned way, by waking you up, and the only way I could think of at the time was to shock you out of it. So I did the last thing you'd expect, I kissed you." She explained logically he nodded in understanding and moved away from her a step.
"That makes a lot of sense, I guess my response was unwarranted then,I apologize." He said formally and Raven found herself moving closer to him and closing the gap he had widened between them.
"Damian, I kissed you because I thought you wouldn't have any interest in me and that it would shock you to know that I had feelings for you, or that I even had feelings at all." She said taking his hands in hers. This is so lame... she thought embarrassedly. He looked at her searching her eyes before leaning in for a short, awkward kiss.
(Time skip to a few weeks later)
"We'll come back to contact you as soon as we learn about Psimon's employer." Aqualad said to Starfire shaking her hand as The Team stood outside of a boom tube. M'gann glanced at Damian and Raven who were holding tightly to each other's hand. 'I'm glad you told each other, you make a cute couple.' She thought smiling at the two of them. Damian released Raven's hand and rubbed the back of his neck nervously and Raven smiled back knowingly. 'You and Connor suit each other too.' She replied smiling as a light blush began to dust the young Martian's cheeks.
"We hope to see you all soon, it was nice to get a chance to speak to you all under better circumstances." Starfire responded smiling warmly at the leaving teenagers. They all nodded and waved goodbye before stepping through the boom tube and returning to their earth. Raven leaned her head against Damian's shoulder and asked,
"You alright?" He glanced over at her and smiled responding,
"Yeah, feeling the aster."
