Alright... this one's gonna be a soft, mellow fluff :33

It has been a while since Y/N and Giyu met.
The two were close, steadfast friends; Y/N being a friend of Sabito's first, before he had finally decided to introduce him to Giyu.
Ever since then, they had both passed the test, mourned with eachother (*snIFF*), comforted eachother, fought demons with eachother, and even got their ranks raised to pillars together.
Of course, it would be strange if one of them wouldn't start developing a crush.
"So what do I do about it, Shinobu?" Y/N sighed, resting her chin on her palm haplessly. The insect pillar smiled in amusement, then patted her shoulder reassuringly.
"Confess to him, obviously."
"WHAT!" Y/N exclaimed, turning around to face her fellow peer. She gave her a disbelieving frown; Shinobu kept her calm, composed smile.
"Alright, I get it-" Y/N sighed in exasperation. She twirled a strand of her hair.
"But how will I? What if he..?"
Y/N felt two firm hands on her shoulders. She met eyes with an encouraging Shinobu.
"You never know if you don't try."

It was a starry night.Giyu and Y/N were nestled comfortably on their usual meeting place on her dojo's rooftop. Although he spoke no words, Giyu was enjoying Y/N's presence in silence.
However, she didn't look as settled as him.
Her eyes had been wide, and she was doing her habit of twirling a strand of hair. All of these were signs of a nervous Y/N.
"Are you alright?" Giyu asked, peeling his eyes away from the view and affixing a concerned stare at his friend.
Y/N looked like she was caught off guard.
"Oh, yeah!" She hastily forced a smile. Giyu was unconvinced.
"Look at the stars today," she tried to change the topic.
Giyu quietly played along, following her gaze to the scatter of bright stars in the sky. He smiled softly; that smile he only specifically showed to her, that smile that made Y/N's heart practically melt.
"There's an awfully bright one." Giyu pointed at a particular shining spark in the midnight blue. "You know what that means."
"A wish?" Y/N guessed.
Giyu nodded, a teasing smile on his face.
"So, Y/N. What do you wish for?"
Alright, here I go.
"I'd wish for courage," Y/N quietly murmured.
"Courage?" Giyu blinked in surprise. "What for? I'd say you're already very brave."
"Not enough to do this."
Then, to Giyu's shock, Y/N closed her eyes, leaned closer, and pecked him on the cheek.
It ended as quickly as it happened. Y/N was flushed in red, trying to hide her face.
An awkward silence. Y/N wanted to crawl into a ball and hide.
"Wh-what about you, Giyu? What do you wish for...?"
Silence. And then....
Y/N felt her face being held by two warm hands. Her eyes flew open in surprise as Tomioka pulled her closer, closing the distance between their lips.
Y/N's face burned even when he pulled away. Giyu was equally as red in the face as her, but he hoped the shadows of nearby trees could hide the state she'd put him in.
"Y/N, I..."
Y/N could see it in his eyes. She didn't need another kiss to know what he meant.
"I love you, too."
"Then in that case, my wish has come true."
