Location : Military Base

Footsteps heard through the hall.People rushing to go in and out of the main office to get latest information about teams that went outside

Some were saved and half of them still unclear about their well being and unfortunately 4-5 people died.

I hope they're fine

I gripped documents that i keep holding on and make my way to our elder

My feet bring me in front of meeting room.I take a deep breath and and knocked twice and let myself in

The first thing i noticed was how messy this room.Papers here and there and my eyes instantly locked into his blue ocean eyes

I was stunted for a second.I know he's kind but when it comes to this kind of thing..

Urgh i don't even want to talk about it

"Flora? " he questioned as he noticed i started to day dream

I looked at him and trying to be professional "Mr.Tom"

He smirked "Just tom is fine. So what happened to those brats? "

He lit his cigarette and looked deep into my eyes.I gulped and could feel myself started to stutter

"uh..they're outside.."

"and? "

"that creature is with them"

I squeeze my eyes because too afraid to see what kind of face he's making.He is very sensitive about this monster

A second passed and he broke into laughter.

I couldn't believe my eyes..

Wha-why he laughed?

I don't get it at all
