Our Beginning

Interview

Seojin looked down at her phone to make sure she was at the right place. Then she looked up and saw a big sign on the building that read, "Daesung Police Centre".

She walked inside and was thrilled at the sight. There was a lot of noise coming from the next room, more like people yelling and crying. As a police man was walking pass her, she grabbed his arm. The man stopped and turned to look at her.

Seojin was shocked at how beautiful he looked.

Man: Excuse me, is everything ok?
(He asked as Seojin as she was dreaming off by his looks.)

Seojin quickly snapped back to reality and flinched.

Seojin: Ah yes, I'm here to see Eunho. Officer Lee Eunho. Do you know where I can find him?

Man: Ahhh Eunho, my buddy.
(He answered smiling.)
I'll take you to him. Follow me.
(He said leading her towards the elevator.)

They both stood in front of the elevator, waiting for it to come. Once the elevator doors opened, the man let Seojin walk in first.

They both stood side to side, awkwardly in the elevator.

Seojin: Are you friends with Eunho?

The man turned to look Seojin.

Man: Of course! We've been friends for so long. I know him the best. You don't want to make him mad, because even though he's happy all the time... He gets scary when he's angry.

Seojin nodded, she took note of that and decided to stay on his good side.

Man: By the way, why are you meeting Eunho today?

Seojin: I have an interview with him today.

Man: Ouu.. You must be special.
(He said.)

Seojin: How come?
(She asked curious.)

Man: Well... He doesn't really like to meet people, because he's always so busy.. He doesn't even eat lunch with me, because he would rather skip and work. Ahhh... Hard working man.
(He said facing the front again, as the elevator door opened.)

The man led Seojin out and turned left. Now up here was totally different than how it was on the first floor. It was dead silent and everything was so clean and modern.

The man went up to a door and looked through the window on the door. He kept peeking for some reason. Seojin stood a good distance behind him.

Seojin: Is everything alright?
(She asked curious and confused.)

Man: Yeah... It's just that I don't think he's in his room right now.

"Because I'm right here." Another voice answered laughing.

Both Seojin and the man turned their head to the person talking, and it was EUNHO! He reached in his pocket for his keys.

Man: Eunho! Where did you go?

Eunho: I went to get some coffee.
(He answered, as he gave one to the man, and unlocked the door.)

He opened the door for the man and Seojin to come in.

Man: Is this for me?!
(He asked excited as he was about to take a sip.)

Eunho quickly snatched the cup of coffee from him.

Eunho: This is for my guest. If you want some coffee you can go get it yourself.
(He said giving the cup to Seojin with a sweet smile.)

Seojin smiled.

Seojin: Thank you.
(She said looking at the man. He had a pouted face.)

Eunho: By the way why are you with my guest?

Man: Ah, she told me that she was here to see you.
(He answered while looking through the mini fridge Eunho had underneath his desk.)

Eunho noticed and quickly ran over.

Eunho: Yah! What do you think you're doing in there. How do you even know I had it there?
(He asked giving the man a suspicious look.)

Man: I.. Just happened to see it.
(He said laughing nervously.)
Hyung! Just let me see what you have! I didn't eat lunch!

Eunho: You can go buy your own food.

The man cutely pouted again at Eunho.

Eunho: Hurry and leave, you brought my guest to me now, your job is done. I need to interview her.

The man pouted again as he dragged his feet slowly out the door. Eunho sight as he left.

Eunho: Have a seat.
(He told Seojin as he sat down.)

Seojin sat down across from him.

Seojin: Who is that?
(She asked curious.)

Eunho: Oh that's one of my juniors.
(He said smiling.)
His name is Dokju. He works part time here since he's still in his last year of school.

Seojin: Oh wow, I am too. I want to work at Daesung Prosecution Halls.

Eunho smiled.

Eunho: I work there too. It's going to be difficult getting in.

Seojin: That's what I heard, but I'm going to do my best and do whatever it takes in order to get accepted.
(She said determined.)

Eunho: You seem very determined, I have a feeling it will be easy for you.

Seojin smiled shyly.

Eunho: Alright, should we start our interview now?

Seojin: Yes.

Eunho stood up and walked to his desk to get a binder. He came back and sat down, flipping through the pages. Then he took out his phone to audio record.

Eunho: Alright, let's start.
(He said taking a deep breath.)
Hello, I am here today with one of Kim Jisoo's family member. Please introduce yourself.
(He said looking at Seojin.)

Seojin: Hello, I am Kim Seojin. I am 25 currently attending at Giselle Law Academy. I am my grandmother, Kim Jisoo's grand daughter.

Eunho: Alright, Seojin, please answer every question truthfully, and if there is something you wish to not answer, you may do so.
