Always trying

Always trying to be smart,
Trying to get an A,
Live up to the expectations,
They set her everyday.
Don't they see how they're pushing her?
How hard she tries?
That in the end it's too much?
That she can't strive.
Always trying to make her perfect,
To live their dreams through her,
If you push her too hard,
You won't be able to anymore.
