Dreamtaker

Pushed him to the floor,
Kicked him in the face,
Made it impossible,
For him to find his place.
All he wanted,
Was to fit in,
Have a few friends,
Not to be shoved in a bin.
You took away his dreams,
Locked them in a box,
Put it high out of reach,
Ditched him at the mall,
Stranded him on the beach.
He cut every night,
Took a million pills,
Enjoying every strike,
Because you took away his dreams,
And you took away his life.
