Loving The Reigns

Chapter 6

I wake up in a new bed, new room, and new house. I wonder why. Oh yeah that's right. Someone decided to prank me by having someone to pretend to kidnap me. No, that's not all. My car was left at work and the bartender and Camille are probably wondering what the hell happened to me. Ooooooh. Shawn's ass is going to get it. I'm going to come up with a prank so childish and vicious that he probably won't talk to me for a couple days.

To make matters worse, I don't have a change of clothes. So I can't even wash my ass. There is no way I'm putting on a pair of my brothers' boxers.

One thing I can count on is them having an extra toothbrush. So I get up to go and brush my teeth while thinking about how I'm going to get back at Shawn.

After I'm done, the door bell rung. I went to answer it and behold Clara, Shawn's girlfriend. I think I know how I'm going to get back at him. I turn around and yell "Shawn, Sarah's here." I turn back around and look at Clara. "He'll be back down here after hearing the name of the girl he loves."

Clara's eyes started brimming with tears and I feel bad for getting her into this. That's what happens to me. But I'm way too far in to back out now.

Soon enough Shawn walks down. "Who in the hell is Sarah?" He looks at the person in front of me and smiles. He pushes me out of the way and tries to kiss Clara but she moves her head away. "What's wrong?" In 3, 2, 1. Boom.

Clara slaps him. Tears stream down her face before she turns around and runs away. I might have to apologize to her later. Shawn though, not going to happen.

Shawn was quick to follow after her. I stood by the doorway and noticed that it did not look good. They were arguing. Well more like she was yelling at him. She said something and his eyes went big.

She got in her car and tried to start it up. Notice I said tried. Shawn tried to help her but she pushed him away. So he came back to the house with his famous angry guy walk. I got to prepare myself now. He's about to give it to me.

"Do you have any idea what you just did? Do you have any idea what just happened out there? Clara broke up with me after she called me a 'cheating scum'! The woman I am madly in love with is no longer mine! To make things worse, I was going to propose tonight on our date! But you had to go and ruin it. You could've shaved my hair off, burned all my clothes, or even slashed one of my tires! But you didn't. Instead you decided to ruin my relationship. Jade you went way too far this time. You know what just...congrats Jade. You got your revenge. I hope your real happy." With that he went back upstairs to his room.

Now I just feel awful. I got the response I wanted but not the result. Man I got to fix this. I hurry up and run outside to Clara who is still trying to fix her car.

I get in the passenger seat of her car. "Clara I'm sorry. What I said wasn't true. I only said that to get back at him for having someone to pretend kidnap me. There is no Sarah in his life. But there is a Clara."

"He told me you guys have a pranking war. I didn't think anyone would go this far."

"I know and I feel awful about it. This is all my fault."

"No it's my fault. I should've trusted him. That makes me a horrible girlfriend. You want to know a secret Jade? On our date tonight, I was going to tell Shawn that I was pregnant."

"This was going to be one special date." I said mostly to myself. "It still can be. Just call him."

"I'll do that. And thank you Jade."

"Your welcome. Although all I did was fix a wrong. Speaking of wrong, could you take a wrong turn and drop me off at home?" She smiled and started the car. "Hey, your car is working."

"It was always working. I just didn't feel like driving at the moment."

"Four words and four words only. Welcome to the family."

I'm sorry but I had to put this in. I felt completely bad for doing this to him. I just wanted to send the message that not all pranks are good pranks.

Please stick with me. I told you I was telling the whole story. And that means leaving absolutely nothing out.

Anybody up for a day at the beach?
