At School

After days of being sick, Bum was finally feeling better and ready to go back to school.
Sangwoo came to his apartment in the morning to walk him to school, he promised to stick with him in case he felt queasy.

"I'm so nervous, I'll have so much to catch up on for all the days I missed," Bum mumbled as he threw his backpack over his shoulders. He was already feeling sick again just from stress.
But Sangwoo laughed, "Bumi, you're one of the top students in the whole school. I think you'll be fine" he said with a wink.
And he wasn't wrong !

Yoon Bum may have always been the shy, quiet one, but he was incredibly smart. He always got amazing grades and had a lot of secret talents, his favourite being cooking.
Bum smiled, hoping for the best.

"We should hurry though, we're going to be late," Sangwoo pointed out.
Bum gasped when he looked at the clock and quickly tied his shoes. The two of them ran out the door and held hands as the speed walked to campus.

Whispers went through the students seeing that Bum was back, it was especially noticed by the usual bullies. Once Sangwoo saw them smirking at his boyfriend, he stood closer to him protectively.
Sangwoo wanted to hold his hand again, put his arm over his shoulder, hug him kiss him or anything but he couldn't.
Gay couples weren't exactly well received at this school, it was taboo.

Sangwoo and Bum could only act as 'best friends' while others were watching, but it was fine for them. They could eat lunch together like a couple, and walk next to each other down the halls. It was a routine they had to get used to because it was dangerous to be public about their relationship.
Bum was particularly terrified to think of what his bullies would do if they ever found out he was gay.

At the moment they were eating lunch and talking.
"I hate how we have to pretend," Bum mumbled, "it shouldn't be like this, Woowoo".

"Hmm?" Sangwoo raised his eyebrows, "What do you mean?".

"I mean how we have to hide," Bum said, lowering his eyes sadly, "How I feel about you isn't wrong, and I don't anyone should make us feel bad for it".

"I know baby, I know things will get better though someday. You have no idea how much I want to just hug you all the time," Sangwoo chuckled, blushing a little.
This made Bum blush too, "I mean...hugging isn't so bad, is it?" He asked shyly, his face going a deeper red.

"Not at all, and when you get so flushed you know I can't resist" Sangwoo smiled, inching closer towards Bum.
Bum practically flew onto him, wrapping his arms around his chest. Sangwoo hugged him back tighter.

Sangwoo never wanted to let him go, but people were starting to stare so he released his little lover. Bum couldn't stop smiling, he always melted in Sangwoo's arms.

Once the bell rang to signal the end of lunch, everyone quickly packed up their food to make sure they weren't late for class. Sangwoo and Bum packed up too and walked together to the next class. They had separate classes though, so now they had to part ways.

"I'll look for you after school, okay Bumi?" Sangwoo said, smiling at him gently.
"I look forward to it!" Bum giggled, "I'll see you in two hours".

Bum couldn't stand it, he knew he should wait until they got home so they could do their private things [ ;) ] but he couldn't.
He walked up to his tall boyfriend and stood up on the tips of his clothes to quickly peck his lips.
Sangwoo gasped, blushing deeply, but smiled a big goofy grin. Bum was completely red, and with that he waved goodbye and fled down the hall.

'What a rush !'
He thought to himself,
'I can't believe we just kissed in public...it felt so good'.

He was lost in his happy thoughts when a strong arm bumped into him and grabbed his shoulder. He looked up to see Joon-Hae, one of the bullies.
An evil grin crossed over his face before he snorted in disgust.

"Hey, listen here twerp," Joon-Hae sneered, "Did you just...kiss another dude you perverted little asshole?".
