Hisoka and I walked back to UA hand in hand, the sun setting behind us. The breeze was cool, yet relaxing.
"Hey, Hisoka? Why did they let me out so quick? I thought I'd be kept back for questioning?" I asked him, confusion in my voice.
"They didn't need you. They used a truth serum on me, and I told them what happened. While it did look suspicious that there was an explosion in your room, and your quirk is explosive, the residue left behind didn't match you or you father. So you were left to heal, then you could leave. Easy as that."
"Do we know who caused the explosion?" I held his hand tighter.
"It was Homura. They are trying to investigate this whole situation. But I just can't seem to grasp that she would do something this extreme."
"Yeah well.. she's your best friend.." I spoke sarcasticly, trying to piece everything together. What reason would she have to try and kill me?As we walked together, time seemed to fly. Before we knew it, the sun was gone, and the moon shone bright with the stars. With our dorm gone, we didn't know where we were going to stay. "I guess I'm staying with my parents until something is organised, huh?" I asked, a slight shiver running down my spine.
"Here.." He took of his jacket, and wrapped it around me, following with his arm around my waist. "I suppose so. I'll walk you there."
"Thank you." I moved myself closer to him. "I hope my dad doesn't flip when he sees you with me."
"Dont worry, I have a feeling he won't." He laughed a little, a cute smile resting on his face.
We turned a left, then a right, walking through the backstreets of the suburbs, until finally, we arrived at 'Bakugo Manor'. "This is me.." I said sadly, afraid to leave his side.
"May I come in?" He asked hopefully.
"YES!" I shouted. "I mean, yes, of course." With that, we went upto the front door to ring the bell, but it opened before we could. "Mum?!"
"Oh honey! I've been worried sick about you!" She leapt towards me and held me tight, in turn making Hisoka step aside. "Both of you, come inside."
We followed her in, and found my dad, plus Aizawa sitting in the living room. What is going on?
"Hisoka. Glad to see you kept her company. Thank you." My father spoke kindly. Given everything that's happened, I'm surprised he wasn't fuming. "Take a seat you two."
We sat where we could, and waited.
"Now, Katsuki and Toru, as you are aware, your getting together surprsied everyone. And from what we know, Ojiro didn't take the news lightly." Aizawa spoke in his usual tone, looking towards my parents.
"What does that have to do with anything?!" Dad (Bakugo) yelled.
"Homura, the one behind the attack, is his daughter. The school thinks that they may be targetting your daughter.
Now, Ojiro did drop from the hero list a few years ago, and has commiting a lot of crimes. The problem is, with his specialties in martial arts, he has been extremely difficult to get near.
This means, no matter where we try and place your daughter, he will be able to find her. Our best chance is to send you two in for one last mission. You're the only ones who can stop him. For your daughters sake."
My parents looked at eachother, before my father nodded. "We will do this. I've been wanting to kick his ass for a while now!" He yelled.
"What about Mylo and I? We could just go in? I mean, she's both of you, and I can paralyze them. That sounds like an easier plan?" Hisoka spoke gently, trying not to anger them.
"Not happening. Not only do you two not have experience, but we can't risk losing you. Your parents were sadly taken at a young age, Hisoka." Aizawa said looking down.
"Yeah, I know.." He held my hand, and I could feel him shake a little.
The adults told us to leave, while they plan their attack, so we went into the kitchen. He was still a little off.
"Hey, Hisoka, I'm sorry about your-"
"Don't. It wasn't your fault. Besides, it's not something I bring up. He only said it cause he's blunter than a wall."
I hold onto and nuzzle upto him.
"Aren't you a cuddly one haha."
"Sorry, I can not?"
"No no, I like it. Believe it or not, you are my first girlfriend too. So, it's nice." He smiled, playing with my hair gently, rocking me gently.
"Okay.. good." I whispered. "Oh!" I pull off of him and smile. "How rude of me, do you want some tea or whatever?" I became a blushing mess.
"Sure!" He smiled to me, playing with my hair, smiling happily.
I love his smile. It makes me feel good.We stood in the kitchen, the kettle boiling, distant chatter being muffled by our laughing. For two individuals who basically just met, getting off on the wrong foot, we connected pretty well. I was glad to have him.
"You know, I'm pretty nervous about what's going to happen." I said shakily, resting my tea on the counter.
"Same. I think my grandfather will join them for the planning, but he's a bit to rough around the edges when it comes to combat. So, as much as I have faith in their ability for this, I don't want to put all my eggs in the one basket, you know?"
"All I know, is that everything will be fine. We need to have faith."
He nodded, taking a sip of his tea.
So there we were, drinking tea, thinking about what the future holds.
I hope everything ends up okay..
