Day two of training. Some students were really going hard. Butterfly was cutting through trees and rocks with her attacks. Luckily for us, Tim was back so he could grow some more with his acorn quirk. But again, they were really into it. We might just win.
"Hey, Mylo! Long time no see!" Tim shouted running towards me.
"Hey bud! I missed you!" I said back, opening my arms for a hug. He opened his and hugged me back. He was like a little brother to me. To everyone really. He was such a small boy too, it made him even more cute.
"My mum almost didn't let me come back here!" He said in his normal happy tone. See, Tim suffered from a brain problem, where he can't be anything but happy. Even in sad situations, Tim's mind could only be happy. He never cried or anything bad. But that was okay. It suited him.
"Well I am glad she let you come back. It wouldn't be the same without you here." I said stepping back, a smile on my face. "I think Butterfly wanted to talk to you too!" I exclaimed.
"Really?! Awesome!" He took off quicker than a bullet to find her, not even saying goodbye. "God damn he's hopeless. Oh well, good luck buddy."
"Did she actually wanna talk?" Hisoka said from behind me. I tensed up immediately. "Or are you just shipping them for your own benefit?"
"You can't deny that they are cute together. A butterfly girl and a squirrl boy; both a little crazy."
"Well, yeah. They are cute together." Hisoka replied, rubbing the top of my head softly. "You ready?"
"I'm ready!" I yelled.Three weeks later...
"Okay, everyone, listen up!" Aizawa shouted, drawing the attention on both classes, along with the teachers and heroes assigned to help this year.
"The competition starts tomorrow. You call all go back to the dorms early and relax. You've all been doing great over the last couple weeks. It's well deserved. But if you wanna keep training, feel free too." He said as he flopped on the ground in his sleeping bag and rolled away.
Most of the students decided to head back to the dorms. The only ones to stay were Yuki, Hisoka, and me.
"So, just us, huh?" Yuki said with a wide smile. "Shall we?"
"I think this will be good for us." Replied Hisoka. Getting into a stance.
"Let's see who is the strongest then!" I shouted excitedly. "I'm ready."
"As am I!" Hisoka said.
"Let's go!" Yuki yelled. "If I roll a 6, you both lose your quirk for 6 minutes!" She shouted energetically.
"Not likely!" Hisoka countered, kneeling down to excreet a paralysis gas, but no surprise here, the die landed on a 6, therefore making Hisoka look like and idiot. Yuki quickly went to attack, but I interfered and tackled her to the ground. From behind me, I heard Hisoka charge, and try to grab me, but I rolled out of the way and made him fall on Yuki. She kicked him off and rolled backwards, picking up dirt throwing it up to create a barrier.
Smart move.. I charged towards Hisoka and threw a punch. He deflected it by grabbing my arm and flipping me onto the ground.
"So even without your quirks, you two are still strong. I see." Yuki said mockingly from the outside.
"Time's up!" I yelled, slamming my hand into the ground, creating an explosion. From the way Hisoka fell, I could tell he was gonna do the same.
"If I roll a 6, I get the strenth of 100 men in my arms for 6 minutes!" She said throwing her die. We stood in a triangle, looking at one another.
"This ends now!" Hisoka shouted, preparing to slam his fist into the ground to paralyze us. Yuki soon followed. Her arms had a weird feel to them. She rolled the 6. I prepared to slam my fist in the ground again, and at the same time, just as we all made contact with the earth beneath us-
"Ow!" Yuki yelled.
"Ouch! What gives!" Hisoka shouted.
"Where did my quirk go?!" I demanded. "Yuki!?"
"It wasn't me! I can only do one thing at a time with my quirk.." She said with pouting lips. "It must've been your boy toy."
"I can't take quirks, and you both are still moving. Not me. And we know that Mylo, you can't take quirks either. So-" He was cut off.
"It was me." Aizawa said from the side. He was accompanied by a few heroes and students who heard us fighting. They were all amazed. "I had to stop you all, not because I am mad, but because you all would have gotten injured. Hisoka's paralysis effect is immediate, as are yours. If while you two expelled your force and power, you got paralysed, you all would have been blown away. You three are powerful, but I suggest saving your energy for the competion." He said with a smile. We nodded to him, and smiled to eachother.
"That was fun!" Yuki said like a little girl, skipping along the walkway next to us. "I can't believe how awesome you two are!"
"Who, us? Noo.. we aren't that great." Hisoka replied modestly.
"Agreed. We are all on the same level, regardless of how different our quirks are. So, Yuki. That means you were awesome too." I said smiling.
"Oooooh! Thanks you guys!"
Off we walked down the path, laughing away. We forgot that our lives were so close to being halted."So, Aizawa. You reckon that's them?" Deku asked kindly. Watching as we walked away down the path.
"The next big three? Without a doubt." He replied smiling.
