Oh my gods, I got Blood of Olympus and I was fangirling so much! No spoilers, though!

Disclaimer: As much as I want to, I don't own neither of these two.

~Last Time . . . ~

She looked at us, surprised as if just noticing that we were there. She usually senses people when they're a few yards away. She must've been really caught up in singing if she didn't sense us.

"Were you guys listening?" she demanded. Uh oh. We're screwed.

~Now . . .~

Guren POV

We were heading towards the dojo for our meeting with Eriden. And when we got there, we were surprised to see Gen there, crouching by the door frame. He spotted us, put a finger to his mouth, and placed his other hand by his ear. I'm guessing he wanted us to listen. So we did, and we heard a girl singing. When she was done, Toxsa was leaning forward so much that he tripped and pushed all of us forward. So now, we were stuck in this situation where Serafina is glaring at us.

And boy, was her glare scary.

"We just came and happened to hear you sing," I said, telling the truth. "Yeah. Like I'm supposed to believe that. I can believe you four," she pointed at me, Ceylan, Toxsa, and Chooki, "but I'm pretty sure Gen was here for both." She shot an accusatory glance at Gen, who looked nervous.

"Wait, you were singing two songs?" I asked. She blushed. "Doesn't matter. Now, why are you here?" she demanded. "We're here to look for a girl called Eriden. You know her?" Toxsa asked.

"Yeah," Serafina replied, sticking her hands into her pockets and glaring at Gen. "Do you know where she is?" Chooki asked. Serafina rolled her eyes and said, "You really are dimwits." That hurt. "No we're not," Ceylan protested. "Yeah, you totally are," she replied.

"How are we dimwits?" Chooki asked coolly. "Because you didn't figure it out," Serafina said rolling her eyes. "Figure what out?" Toxsa asked. "Figure out that I am Eriden, ya numbskulls," she replied casually.

I knew it!

Serafina POV

After that statement, everyone (except Guren and Gen) gained surprised looks. They were stuttering like idiots and staring at me. "While you guys process this, I gotta have a private chat with Gen here," I said, pulling him aside to a private room. I noticed something about the four of them, and it definitely needed attention.

"What's this about?" Gen asked, annoyed. "Did you know?" I demanded. "Know that you were Eriden? Yes," he said. I shook my head. "No, not that. Did you know that they are half-bloods?" I asked in a whisper. I figured that out from all the signs that they showed. The signs of a demigod. And I knew there were some here because a saw around one or two satyrs in the school. Gen froze.

"They're one of us?" Gen asked weakly. "Judging by your state of shock, I'm guessing you didn't know. And yes, they're one of us," I said, nodding grimly. "And that's not good." Gen arched an eyebrow. "How is that not good?" he asked. I rolled my eyes. "Gods Nico, did you get denser over the past few years?" I hissed. "No. I just don't understand," he defended himself.

I sighed and said, "It's not good because now, they have twice the pressure." "Meaning?" "Ugh, I swear Nico, you've really gotten denser. It means that they now have to worry about Quarton and facing monsters from our world," I told him. Realization dawned on Gen's face. "Dear gods, that's not good," he murmured. "You don't say!" I said sarcastically.

"We have to tell them!" Gen exclaimed in a whisper. "Are you crazy!? We have to wait! Telling them now won't help!" I hissed at him. "If we're not gonna tell them now, then when are we gonna tell them?" Gen demanded. "Sometime later when someone or something blow our cover. For their own safety," I said solemnly.

"I can't believe I'm agreeing to do this with a traitor," he muttered. "Ugh, for the last time, I am not a traitor!" I exclaimed out loud. "Then why don't you prove it?" he challenged me. "Fine, you want proof?" I raised my voice. "You can ask our cousins and Uncle P. They'll tell you!," I shouted. "Alright, I'll ask them then!" he yelled right back. I growled and shadow travelled back to my apartment. After throwing some pillows and cursing in Ancient Greek at Gen, I finally settled on my bed and started crying.

Why did my life have to be so complicated? Was I cursed when I was born? Obviously I was, since I was born after the oath. So naturally, I was kinda cursed and given bad luck to.

I kept sobbing and crying into my pillow until there was a flash. I looked up and saw Hades along with Poseidon. "Dad, Uncle P," I sniffed. Both had sympathetic looks on their faces. Hades walked over to me and gently wrapped me in a hug.

"Shhhhh, it's okay Serafina. Just let it out," Dad said in a gentle voice. Afterwards, I started bawling my eyes out. "W-Why does my l-life have t-to be s-so complicated?" I wailed. It felt good letting out all my buried emotions from the many years back.

"Everyone has to go through them. Even though they don't want to," Dad told me. Uncle P also came over and hugged me. I just sat their, crying. Eventually, Dad and Uncle P let go. At that moment, Gen burst in, face flushed. Once he saw the scene, his face contorted into an expression of confusion.

"Father, Uncle Poseidon," he said stiffly. "Son," Dad said, equally stiffly. "I only came here to talk with my sister," Gen said in a monotone voice. They both nodded. "Very well. And just so you know, Serafina is innocent," Uncle P said. Gen nodded. Then Uncle P and Dad flashed out.

"W-Well? What d-do you w-want?" I sniffed. I didn't care if I was crying in front of him. He can think whatever he thinks, I don't care. His eyes, which were always hard when they saw me, softened. "I just wanted to say sorry," Gen said softly. I scoffed. "Won't be that easy to gain my trust again," I snapped at him, my sniffles disappearing.

Gen winced. "I know, but Apollo did a memory transfer when the four left the dojo. I know what happened all those years ago." "Well, now you know how I felt all those years ago when my own family, except some, betrayed me," I said bitterly.

Gen came over to me and surprisingly hugged me, burying his head into my shoulder. I hugged him back, becoming the helpless little girl I was, always seeking for someone to care for me, just like a certain someone I know. "It's okay, I'm here for you now," Gen mumbled into my shoulder. "But what happens if you leave me again?" I asked quietly.

"Then smack me upside the head and tell me to get common sense," he replied, looking at me and smiling. I offered a small smile back. "So, we good?" Gen asked me, sticking his hand out. "I guess," I said. He smiled, and only then did I realise that I have't seen him smile for ages.

"And honestly, Nico, you should lose the look. You look like an actual emo. And Gen is a weird name," I scolded him. "I do not look like an emo! And it isn't a weird name!" he protested. "Yes you do, and yes it is," I teased him. He flushed.

I kinda like this chapter. What with the sibling moments and secrecy. Vote. That's all you need to do this time. Thx and bye peoplez!
