Alex's POV

I'm sick and tired of this. Josh thinks he can control me? Fuck this I'm calling Jack over. I pick up my phone and scroll through my contacts. I haven't spoken to Jack since the incident as per Josh's demands but I really needed to hear his voice. I press the phone up to my ear as it rings out.

"Lex?" "Hey Jackie." I smile through tears. "What happened are you okay?" "Yeah I'm fine, can you come over?" I sniffle. "Of course give me ten minutes" "Okay bye, love you." "I love you too Lex." I hang up and wipe me eyes. "What are you doing?" A voice asked from over my shoulder. Shit. "How the fuck did you even get into my house, Dan?!" I shout standing up.

"Yeah the plant pot isn't the best place for a key mate." Dan said spining the keychain around on his finger. "How much did you hear?" I ask suddenly alarmed. "Only the 'I love you' part." He casually said, sitting in an armchair. "Why are you here anyway?" "Josh asked me to check up on you, and who was that on the phone?" He eyed me and crossed his arms. "My mom." I lied. "Mhm well I'm going to go now so you be a good boy and stay out of trouble." He smiled and put the key on the coffee table and left.

I hear a knock on the door a few minutes later and run to the door. I gasped when I saw a tall lankey figure in the door way. "Jack!" I squealed. I opened the door and flung myself into his arms. "I missed you." He whispered in my ear. "Me too Jackie, me too."

"Well, well, well, what do we have here?" "Shit." Jack mumbled. "Now, now Barakat, I recommend putting your hands behind your back and both of you slowly walk into the house." Dan said, cocking a gun.
