The glasses Chapter 5

Draco woke up the next morning rushing around getting dressed so he could catch Harry before anyone noticed He had Harry's glasses. Draco quickly ran out of the common room leaving Crabbe and Goyle.

" where are you going mate?" Crabbe shouted.

" I want to get down to breakfast early, bye"

Both Crabbe and Goyle rolled their eyes and began getting ready. He ran down the hall too the griffindoor common room entrance. He waited for Harry. Draco was hiding behind a pillar that framed the griffindoor entrance. He heard Hermione, Ron and Harry come out of the door.

" Potter?!" Draco whispered. Harry heard draco and looked behind him. Lucky the others didn't hear.

" bloody hell, hey um guys go in with out me I forgot my glasses"

" okay Harry see you down there" hermione said.

Harry waited till they were down a flight of stairs. And turned around to Draco.

" what in the bloody hell are you doing here!" Harry said quietly to Draco walking over to him.

" you forgot your glasses last night"

" oh... umm thank you" Draco handed harry his glasses and put them on his face.

" wow" Harry said squinting.

" what?"

" they are so clean"

" oh yeah I cleaned them last night for you" Harry hugged Draco very quickly.

" thanks Draco!"

" no problem Harry"

" okay I got to go Ron and Hermione are waiting for me"

" okay see you during divination?"

" yeah definitely" Harry gave Draco a big smile then started down the stairs.

Draco was standing there blushing like a maniac. He swallowed and his heart fluttered. He started walking down the stairs to the dinner hall.

Harry kept looking up when he was eating. There wasn't a sign of Draco. Harry started to get sad. He didn't understand why. Maybe they've become friends. Harry stared at his food. He looked up to see Draco at the slitherin table. Harry smiled and Draco smiled back. Harry and Draco both felt happy and flustered. The kept loosing eye contact from their friends but always found each others eyes again. They exchanged smiles every once in a while.

" Draco,mate lets go" Goyle said bumping Draco's shoulder.

" oh yes...okay" Draco got up making one last look at Harry. Then walked out of the door.

" Ron we should probably get to class"

" oh yeah give me a minute" Ron said with his mouth full of food.

The boys left together. They got to their first class to see hermione. Hermione gone to classes 10 mins before Harry and Ron.

The next three of their classes Harry had been silent. He could stop thinking about his next class with Draco. Harry smiled at his paper thinking of Draco. Ron looked over at Harry's paper to see what he had missed. Ron saw that Harry was smiling and nudged him.

" why are you so happy?" Ron asked in a whisper.

" oh nothing I just happy to be at Hogwarts with you guys again" tho it wasn't the truth and he was just happy thinking of Draco. He did miss them loads.

" aww mate... I missed you too"

The boys continued to work. Harry counted down every minute waiting for the next class. Harry did the same thing in for charms and defense against the dark arts. Harry wanted to get through all the classes so he did all his work. Which was really surprising to Ron and especially Hermione. She was proud of Harry, but they both knew something was up.

It was time to go to their next class. Instead of running to divination Harry walked with Ron and hermione to their next class before splitting ways.

Harry ran to divination climbed the latter to Trelawney's room. He sat down waiting for Draco. A few minutes passed a few more students came in along with Draco. Harry smiled at him and in return so did Draco. Draco sat down and took out his books.

" good afternoon dears welcome back to divination. Today we will be reading pages 10-15 which is the crystal ball readings. Okay now read with a your partner and I'll hand out the crystal balls."

Harry and draco Borge turned to page 10 and started reading. Draco put his hand on the table. It looked to seem he was reaching for something. Harry got distracted by his harm. Wondering if he should hold his hand or not.

" your turn" Draco said finish reading his part. Harry's eyes still on Draco's arm.

" oh yes sorry I got distracted were are we?"

" it's okay we are right here" Draco said lifting his other arm over to Harry to show him where they were.

Harry thought this was strange. Draco's right hand was on the table and closer to Harry and his left one was in his lap. Draco is also right handed so why would he move his left arm.

" oh I see thanks" Harry continued reading.

With out realizing Harry had put his left arm in the table like Draco. Draco's hand moved ever so slightly toward Harry's hand. Harry continued reading and Draco was following along. Harry slid his hand slightly toward Draco as well. Harry felt something soft touch his fingers. He continued reading. Harry reached closer to Draco. A few the their fingers were intertwined. Both Draco and Harry started to blush and smile. They looked up from their text books to each others eyes. The lost contact when Draco saw Trelawney walking over to them. Draco dragged his hand to his book leaving Harry's hand alone. She came over to the table and put down the crystal ball. They looked at each other again and finished reading the lesson.
