yunho

yunho is not having a very nice time at work. hongjoong didn't come in today for a doctors appointment, so that leaves him and mrs.kim alone to take care of the cafe. which isn't the problem, he loves working and loves mrs.kim even more.

he just hates some of the customers.

yunho accidentally put whole milk in a customers coffee when she asked for almond milk, so he kindly explained and said he'd make her other coffee free of charge, and she immediately jumped on him complaining about the time and his inability to get it right the first time.

but the saint that yunho is, he simply made her another coffee, with almond milk, and sent her off with a smile.

another customer felt the need to yell at yunho when he informed them they had no more cinnamon apple bagels. the kind alpha tried so hard to explain that all the dough for that bagel was gone, and he tried to list the other great flavors they offer, but the customer wasn't having it and stormed out.

yunho also dropped an entire case of powdered sugar in the kitchen, and had to re-mop the once perfectly clean floor.

to put it frankly, yunho isn't having a very good day. but he keeps his head up with the thought of a certain omega. san.

their date, as yunho calls it, went well. he learned a lot about the younger male and he thinks they have good chemistry.

at one point during the date, his scent  started to change slightly, and yunho noticed he mumbled to himself once, but he brushed it aside and continued to enjoy the company.

as if someone to listening to his thoughts, the bell on the entrance of the cafe rang, signaling a customer walked in. yunho put down his phone and looked towards the counter to greet them, and stop once he realized it was san himself.

"w-welcome to kim cafe! how can i help you?"

"real smooth, yunho."

san grinned at the alpha. "hi, yunho. i came to uh, ask you for something a little more personal then a large dark roast coffee." yunho's face fell into a look of curiosity, and he slightly titled his head.

"would you like to come on a date with me? well, do you want to come with me on a group date? i..really messed up. i said some really hurtful words to my best friend and he really wants me to come on this group thing with him, and i want to make it up to him. but i need a date..so would you like to come with me?"

yunho blinks, and immediately beams up at the omegas words. "really? i was gonna ask you to go with me to one! by any chance..do you know hongjoong? he asked me to come so he'd have another friend there."

"my roommate wooyoung asked me to come..our friend yeosang invited him and-"

"yeosang!? i know him! his boyfriend jongho is friends with mingi, who hongjoong is going on the date with! so i guess it turns out everyone somehow knows each other! isn't that weird?"

both of them laugh at the confusing jumble of this group date, and san straightens up and puts a slightly serious look on his face. "so you..want to go with me? like you aren't joking with me right now?"

"no no! i really want to go with you, and i think it'll be fun! i want hongjoong and mingi to finally get that push they need to ask each other out, and maybe seeing everyone else together and happy will make them snap."

"together..?" san quickly pushes the thought out of his head. "he doesn't like you like that. he just needs a date and so do you."

"well, i guess i'll see you this friday? at the restaurant we're all meeting at?"

"yeah..i'll see you there." yunho gives san his signature smile, and he chuckles as he sees the omega try to hide a slight blush to his cheeks.

"well, i have to get back to work, it's my break. bye, yunho." and with that the omega quickly leaves the shop, and yunho can feel his cheeks heating up and his heart pounding. "woah..he's really my date."

and he finishes the rest of his awful work day with the thought of the pretty omega on his mind.
