~~She looked up into the sky, past the tall line trees. It was snowing pretty hard so she held her mitted hand over her eyes.
"Hello?" the girl whispered, her voice barely audible.
Nothing.
She cleared her throat awkwardly. "Umm...Dad?"
There was a boom, and the snow started falling even harder. It became hard to see her hand in front of her face.
Suddenly, she could see through the snow. Not that the snow was transparent, but more like it fell softer only around her, letting her see the mini snow tornado taking place in front of her. It started to move towards her.
Her eyes widened and she tried to scrambled away, only to fall on her back in the snow. She gasped, but couldn't close her eyes. The tornado froze, and burst into more snowflakes. Those flakes settled in an oval mirror-like shape.
The girl got up slowly and looked at the oval of snowflakes. A shimmering image of a man with dark hair and light skin was there instead of glass.
The girl's jaw dropped. "Wha--who...how?" she stuttered.
"Calm down," the man said gently. "I'm Rikard. Your...father."
Her eyes popped open. "Y-you're the Ice King."
He nodded gravely. "I am."
"I--what--how?"
"Listen, I don't have much time. You are part of the prophecy."
The girl opened her mouth again, but thought better of it and closed it.
The Ice King continued. "Have you heard of it?" when she shook her head, he said, "
~When life turns grey,

~Four must gather.

~One of light.
~One of green,
~One of ice.
~Only the four, together, are strong.
~Only the four together will right the wrongs.
"This was told by the great Mother Foreseer. You are one of four. You are part of this. Stay aware." two hands reached out of the snow-mirror and took of the girl's left mitten. There, creeping up the girl's joints of her hand was the blue marks of the Ice Dragon. He touched it and a bright white light glowed and then slowly faded.
"Fianara," he said softly. "What a pretty name. You're mother was right. A pretty daughter should have a pretty name."
The snowflakes flitted to the ground and the image vanished. The girl caught one falling snowflake in her bare hand. It didn't melt.~~
