Ariella's POV:
I ran as Gunner pushed Raph down. I ran to the end of the pasture, and turned running down it's side. Fear clouding every sense but one. I didn't want to leave Raph, I was just scared of what happened.
After about half way back to the barn, I turn sharply on my heels, and run back the way, I came, when a rope was thrown around my neck, stopping me.
I scream in fear, as the rope tugs at my neck. "I can't let you hurt my son," Raphael's Dad says. I buck out, trying to get away. Fighting the rope, as I am forced back into the tall pen.
He then releases me, as I run the perimeter of the pen, trying to see outside it. My fear hightened because I can't see. "You'll mind my son and the pack, and you will produce him heir's to the pack," his Dad says.
"Richard," a voice reprimands him. "That is their choice, you can't keep scaring the girl," Raphael's mom says.
I soon hear thundering, as Gunner comes running nearby. "Why is she in there," Raph yells. "She was running away, she was going to jump the fence, and I couldn't let her leave you for my stupidity," his Dad says.
"So you roped her and forced her in the round pen," Raph says. Gunner nickers, and I skitter to a stop, answering him back frantically.
I shift and climb the rails, when no one is paying attention, as I do Gunner stands below me. I climb down onto his back, and he runs off, as I cling to his back. Reaching the trees in the center of the pasture, I slide off his back and shift back to horse form.
Gunner starts nuzzling me, trying to calm me down, as my father would, do lovingly, to all his mare's. I relax considerably, and start nuzzling back. Enjoying the comfort of another horse.
A twig snaps nearby, and I freeze, but soon see Raph step out of the trees. "Are you ok," Raph says. I nicker softly at him, though my neck is sore, from fighting the rope.
He slowly walks up to me and Gunner, as he looks at me. "Baby, I can help, if you will allow me," he says. I drop my head a little, showing him, that I am calmed down.
He walks up and places a hand on my neck, causing me to flinch away, in pain. "You have a little bit of rope burn, but it'll be ok," he says.
"I can help it heal, if you let me," Raph says. I nudge him with my muzzle, causing him to smile. He places his hands on my neck, "a mate's touch can speed the healing process," he says.
At his touch the pain is already less than it was. "I'm so sorry, that he scared you, he is only the Alpha for a short term, because I was gone," Raph says, "I just haven't inserted my role, yet because I found you."
"I've been gone for a few months trying to find you, but it just happens that my sister found you instead of myself," Raph says.
I lean my neck into Raph, as I grow comfortable with him again. I can hear his wolf pur in delight as I do. "You have no idea how happy I am right now," he says.
I lay down and shift again, even though I can shift standing, but I'm not quite accustomed to the whole walking or standing on two legs, it's safer for me to shift on the ground.
Raph pulls me into his arms, as he sits down. "I'm so sorry, I rushed you, it'll never happen again, I promise," Raph says. I happily cuddle into him, as he holds me in his arms gently.
I soon find myself falling asleep in his arms, against his chest, as the tingles, help lull me to sleep. Exhaustion taking it's toll on me. "Sleep my love, I'll keep you safe," he tells me.
