Will You Let Me Love You?

chapter 29

[Justin's POV]

I then go down an extra flight of stairs that I find at the end of a hallway. It's pitch black with no form of light what so ever. I feel in my pocket for a flashlight and turn it on. I look around and still can't find her. I'm starting to loose hope.

Where is she? I lean against this old lion statue to think, but it moves. I jump up and a secret passage way opens up. I look back at the policemen behind me. They nod and we slowly walk in through the door, down the mysterious hallway.

"Justin! I know you're here, please help me"! I hear Miley scream.

I start running. Running as fast as I can, faster than I ever have in my life. She's the only person I have to live for right now.

"Justin!" She screams again.

I finally get to the end if the hallway and there's a dead end. I look to my left and there's another door. I break it down and there she is. She's standing right in front of me, and so is Luke. I'm about to run up to him, but he then pulls out a gun and I freeze!

"Stop right there pretty boy! You're not going to do anything,".Luke says smirking.

"Wanna bet?" I ask. Just then the police catch up and are now standing behind me, armed with guns.

"Aw I knew it! You're not man enough to come save little miss Miley by yourself, so you go get the cops? Ha! That's funny, but guess what? Any of you make a sudden move, and I take one shot to her head and it's bye bye Miley," he says laughing.

"Ok, so you wanna bring up who's man enough? Well it sure as hell isn't you Luke! I mean come on, look at how pathetic you are. You kidnap an innocent girl, and do only God knows what! Just to say 'you have her back'?  Well hate to cut it to ya, but but you're not gonna have her either way you go in this situation. If you shoot her, you loose her. If not, you still do because you're going to prison for the rest of your life ! So would you rather kill a person and live with regret forever just so you'll be able to say you won your sick, twisted game? Or let her free without harming anyone?"

I stare at him while I say this. "Is this really how you want it? Either way you're still gonna pay for what you have done."

He looks at me and glares.  "You don't get it do you Justin? You always get what you want. I never do. You're a celebrity and look at me. A nothing!" He screams.

I take a glance at Miley who had terror written all over her face. Then I look back at Luke.

"Come on man, think about all the people that love her. Not just me, but also her friends, haterz family. Think about how they'll feel if she dies!" I plead, hoping to change his mind.

"But what about me," he says, "I love her too!"

"If you love her, then why have her in this position; this situation?" I ask him. Wow it's taking a long time to convince him. I just want to hold her so she can be safe once again.

"Do what's right Luke! Put the gun down," I say moving closer to them.

"I said don't move!" He yells. Then, the next thing I know, his gun has gone off and Miley falls to the floor. The police run to Luke and attack him.

Everything is in slow motion for me right now. This couldn't have just happened. No! She can't be gone!

I pick up her still and fragile body. I realize then, that she didn't get shot in the head, but in her side, where her ribs are located. I carry her outside of the house.

When I reach the front door and walk out, her parents come rushing to us. They realize what's happened and Mrs. Megan immediately starts to break down while Jimmy holds her in his arms to comfort her. Next thing, I hear sirens and the ambulance are her taking Miley out of my arms, puts her on a stretcher, and drive off.

I stand there for a moment, then fall to my knees sobbing. Then, the police come out with Luke in hand cuffs. When I see this, I run over and start to beat the shit out of him until another officer pulls me off of him, which I hated.

But I might have ended up killing him if they wouldn't have. They put him in the police car and then drove off. Then Miley's parents come up to me and walk me to the car, and he head to the hospital that Miley was being sent to.
