How did you find me?

After having wrote in my journal I changed my mind and decided to pack my things and leave. I waited till everyone had fallen asleep and made my way downstairs after I wrote a note. I looked back upstairs and then quietly snuck outside. I pulled my backpack over my shoulder and walked into the trees and made sure to stay clear of the night patrol. I got to the border and looked at it. I hadnt crossed it since I had been here. I took in a breath and then looked back once more and took off my backpack and shifted to my wolf form and picked up my bag jumping across the border and took off. I ran till I was far away from the pack. I sighed finding an abandoned cave and curled up inside sleeping. When I woke up it was just beginning to start raining and I lay inside for a while. I was sure the rain had washed away my scent by now so Blake wouldn't be able to track me. It was late afternoon when it decided to stop. I grabbed my stuff and set out to go further.

Blake's POV

I got up the next morning hearing knocking at my door. I growled to myself thinking who would dare wake me this early. Raven's scent was still in my bed. Maybe it was her. I went to the door and found that it was Cam. "What is it?" I said rubbing my eyes. "Raven...she's gone. Caught her scent at the border while on patrol before it rained" he said out of breath. "What do you mean she's gone?" I said waking up instantly. He handed me a note.

I'm sorry that I did this all of a sudden. But I think its best if I move on. Besides the further away I am I won't be able to cause trouble with Cyan. I'm so really sorry even to you, Blake. Gosh im so sorry for what happened last night. Thanks for the room though.

I read over her last few sentences and Cam said "What happened last night?" I crumbled the paper growling to myself turning away flicking on the light in my room saying "Im so stupid! Gosh!" "What happened Blake?" Cam asked again. "I kissed her!" I yelled. "What?" He said and I growled yelling "Last night I finished her room and showed it to her and she gave me hug saying she loved it. Next I knew I looked at her and I kissed her..." "Well did she reject you?" He asked and I shook my head saying "I....I sorta left her there..." "You did what?!" Oria, Raven's best friend yelled pushing past Cam. "I didn't know what to do! She's not officially a member of Essence and I can't just claim her without her having not given her ties with Cyan up!" I answered back panicked. "You idiot! We have to find her!" Oria yelled and Keith entered the roon saying "The rain has washed away her scent." "You don't think she went back to Cyan....do you?" Oria asked. I sighed sitting on my bed "What have I done?" "Well sitting in here isn't going to help us. Lets get a few other members and we'll send three of you to Cyan. Keith your brother still here? He's the best tracker we have right now" Keith nodded leaving out and Oria and Cam left to get a few others. 'Im sorry Raven. Please come back from wherever you are" I thought putting on some clothes and leaving out the room.

Raven's POV a few hours later

I walked alongside a river before sitting down. It was completely dark now. I completely forgot about how scary the woods could be when one was on the run. I sighed looking at water then heard 'Took me a while but I caught up to you' I jumped up quickly seeing Keith's brother. I sighed and said 'Dave? ...I thought you were somebody else' I walked toward him saying 'I guess Blake told you to track me down huh?' 'Yes... yes he did but...i didn't track you down for him' he answered back and I blinked confused saying 'W...what do you mean?' I backed away now and heard four growls. I looked around spotting Caine first. 'Well well well we meet again Raven' he said and I looked at Dave saying 'Cyan?....you were asked by Cyan?' 'I love my brother truly and yes I am a loner at heart but when a job needs to be done the packs find me' he said walking toward me. I glanced around then bolted with the males in pursuit. Needless to say...Caine caught me and gave me a good beating. I was drugged and taken back to Cyan territory.

Most of the drug wore off by the time we reached the pack house. The moment Caine shoved me into Alex's study I just knew I was dead. I saw Alex looking at some paperwork and then he looked up at me. I backed into the door as he got up silently and walked around to the front of the desk leaning against it. He stared at me. I could tell he could sense my fear and looked down. After it being so quiet I took in a breath saying "A...alpha Axel I....I..." I started looking up and he hadn't moved a muscle. "I...I'm sorry." I said. Another long silence then he said "You know...I'm pretty sure I said if you ran away again..." he started walking toward me now. "Id kill you" he finished and I slightly moved aside saying "I...I didn't run away....they took me Alpha" "Oh you expect me to believe that?" He asked as I moved to a corner which was wrong place to be. "But they did...honest" I said and he stopped at the door and opened it wide and backed away saying "Well then let me give you a headstart to run. Go on...run" I stared at the door then looked at him before rushing toward the door. He easily caught me by the throat and slammed the door back shut putting the locks at the very top down. "Alpha Axel....please!" I yelled as he slammed me against a wall. "You really thought I'd let you walk out of here!" He yelled hitting me across the face and swinging me away. I tumbled into a chair and said "Please!" "Now you beg? Why beg now you obviously thought I had given up on getting you back" he said catching me by the hair and dragging me to the window and pushing my face against it. Through teary eyes I spotted Dave in the brush and he held sadness in his eyes. I shut them tight and I'm not sure where it came from but I growled and pushed myself backwards and twisted out of his grip. I turned towards the door and flung it open and went through and was coming up to the stairs when Caine rushed up grabbing me by my shirt and pushing me against the railing and shattered it. We both fell over and hit the floor below. I coughed up some blood trying to get up and Caine got up and walked over to me standing me up saying "You think you're really smart huh?" I spat in his face and he swung me away and I crashed into a mirror sinking to the ground things getting blurry. I blinked once and then saw Axel in front of me. He said something but I couldn't hear him. He grabbed me by the arm and I lowered my head in to much pain to do anything. I shut my eyes again and felt the side of my face stinging and opened my eyes seeing blood then noticed I was in a cell with Axel standing over me. I couldn't hear a thing he was yelling but in a quick moment I thought I said sorry as he turned away his hand went across my face and everything went blurry again. I swayed as I tried to sit up and felt pain in my ribs which knocked the air out of me. I gasped for a breath trying get a grip on my mind but everything went completely black after that.
