The Alpha Saved Me

Nothing but pain

I opened my eyes feeling every part of my body hurting. My eyes spotted a glass of water and I tried getting my body to move but couldn't. It was to much. I swallowed hard thinking then opened my mouth saying hoarsely "A...alpha ax...axel..." No answer. "H...help me! ....p...please" I cried out and gathered enough strength to pull myself to the glass of water. I knocked it towards my face and was able to get a few drops that went down my face. I shivered then feeling cold air. "Had enough?" I heard and my eyes searched for the male that said it. I don't know how long I had been here but I wanted out. I nodded the best I could and then heard him walking closer then noticed it was Dave. "....y...you. Get a....away" I said through pain and he  crouched down saying "I didn't think he'd do this much damage to you, Raven. I...I'm going to get you out" I shut my eyes tight and opened them again and he was gone. I sighed and laid on the floor crying before going off to sleep. I flinched awake hearing yelling. I looked around then saw an omega male open the cell and snatch me up. I whined as he pulled me up some stairs. Bright light hurt my eyes as we reached the top and I noticed the house looked a mess. The male pulled me along and outside saying "Here! Take her! Im tired of seeing her in pain. Keep her safe" He shoved me off the porch and I landed in the mud. I whined and then felt two people pick me up. "....no...please" I whined and opened my eyes seeing Blake. I sighed fainting.

Blake's Pov

Once Dave told me what he had done I wasnt sure if I wanted to kill him or any male that touch Raven. I had some of my members go to the other side of Cyan boder as a distraction while me, Cam and Keith went to the pack house. One of Axel's wolves brought Raven out and I wasn't sure if that was really her. But the moment she looked at me I could see it in her eyes. As she fainted I could also tell that all that hard work of getting her to relax had gone out the window. I wanted to kill Axel for what he had done to her. Her hair was cacked in dried blood, bruises on her face, arms and legs. And by her ragged breathing she had a broken rib or two. I held her in my arms protectively as we hurried back to Essence territory. I took her to the healer and she said that she was surprised Raven had endured so much damage and was still alive. "Can you heal her?" I asked desperately and she patted my shoulder saying "Of course I can...but it'll take a lot more than just physical healing for her" I nodded and left her to work.

Axel's Pov

I slammed my hand down on my desk. I couldn't believe she had gotten away again! Blake had taken her not once but twice from me! And one of my own omegas just gave her away. That costed him his life. I took in a breath and then looked out the window then said "Prepare yourself Raven....I will get you back"

Raven's Pov~

I opened my eyes looking up at the ceiling. Breathing in everything smelled familiar to me. I turned my head and noticed it was my room at Blake's house. Why was I back here? I breathed in more deeply and it hurt my chest. I bunched my muscles to move but it all hurt. I had to get out of here. Axel would come for me again. I let out a whine and then heard the door open quickly and Cam rushed over saying "Easy Raven...you were hurt badly" Despite the pain I managed to get up and he grabbed my arm. "NO!" I yelled turning on him and pushing him back. I rushed out the room and downstairs. "Keith!" Cam yelled from behind me and in a quick moment of reaching the door Keith wrapped his arms around me. "LET ME GO!" I screamed struggling to get away and pushed him backwards against the wall. He let me go and as I growled biting his arm. "Raven! Calm down! You're safe!" Cam yelled blocking the front door now. I snarled rage and fear in my body. "Raven please you're safe now" Keith yelled. "Your brother tracked me for THEM!" I yelled to him and he stared at me. "Because of him I went through hell!" I screamed and he growled now saying "Leave my brother out of this Raven" "Or what!?! Its his fault!" I yelled backing away as he stepped closer. Cam started to move but I glanced at him growling and instead he git out his phone and called Blake. I had backed closer towards the stairs and didn't realize Blake had entered from a back door till I caught his scent but I was to late to move. He wrapped his arms around me and lifted me off the floor. I yelled and kicked trying to get away. "What happened?" Blake asked. "She just snapped" Cam said and I shook my head shutting my eyes and Blake carried me down the hall and downstairs. When we got to the pack basement I freaked out even more and he put me in a cell and locked it backing away. I shifted and rammed against the bars whining and growling. "Raven stop!" He yelled and I continued a few more times before shifting back my body hurting all over again and then he came inside and caught me by the throat slamming me against the wall yelling "I SAID STOP!!" I struggled to get free and he tightened his grip trying to get me to stop and I whined then heard "Blake No! Stop!" from Cam. Blake stared at me then let me go. I rushed to the otherside of the cell and sunk down in the corner. "Raven....I didn't mean to..." Blake started to say coming toward me and I looked down crying "Please....stop...go away" He stared at me for a little longer then left out saying "Don't let her out of here. Shes better inside then out and about" "But Blake...we can't just get her out of a cell and then leave her in here of our own" Keith said. "Leave her in!" Blake yelled back. I pulled my knees closer to my body shivering as all three left me down there. I wanted to be dead. At that moment I really did. I stayed there by the wall in darkness. It felt like days went by when it was only a few hours when a door opened and a light was turned on. "Raven?" I heard. It was Cam. I didn't answer him at first. "You guys left me...down here" I whispered. "It wasn't my decision Raven. Blake said to..."-"You left me!" I yelled looking up at him and he flinched looking down silently. I frowned and then sighed calming down. "Just...what do you want?" I asked looking away. "Thought I'd come to at least apologize. I know you think of me as a brother and I wasn't acting like one." he answered. I glanced at him and sighed and he slightly stepped forward. Seeing as I didn't deny him to come forward he came over and sat just a bit from me. "I've caused a lot of trouble for this pack. If I had only accepted alpha Axel in the begginning none of this would've happened. I could've lived my days out in Cyan." I said softly and Cam shook his head saying "And you wouldn't have been very happy. He probably would've killed all your family anyway. I know how that is. You wanna know why I know?" I shrugged silently while glancing at him and he took in a breath saying "I was a member of Cyan too. I was an omega though" I blinked and lifted my head looking at him saying "What?" "I had been a member sometime before you had probably come. I had been the pack's punching bag. My parents were killed in a fire so it was only me and my two sisters. We didn't have anybody to comfort us...well except the pack healer. One day Axel wanted my sister, Kiley as his mate..." he said and stopped shutting his eyes and I said "What happened?" "She was hanging with her friends by a lake one night and Axel was drunk. She threw her drink in his face and started back home. I was already on late night patrol and heard them arguing. When I came through the bushes...she was...gone. In a rage I lashed out at Axel and he would've killed me if I hadn't ran. I wandered onto Essence and a patrol found me the next morning" he finished looking down. "Cam...I'm so sorry to hear that" I answered and hugged him tightly. He tensed and said "We've both had nothing but pain while in Cyan. We lost our loved ones. But you know what...being here in Essence doesn't mean we can't be. With Blake's help I was able to get my surviving sister, Kailyin back and we joined his pack. Don't let what Axel has done to your life stop you from being happy." I looked at Cam and he smirked and I thought about it for a moment and nodded. "You're right I shouldn't. I have lost my family but I have gained new ones." I said and stood up saying "Take me up. I need to talk to Blake" He stood up and led me out.
