"I'm so close!" "Me too!" All you could hear were two girls fighting over who was going to come first. "Anddddd, I win!" Rebecca exclaimed. "Hey! I was so close to kicking your ass." I said, hated that Rebecca defeated me again in one of her favorite video games. "Sureeee you were." Rebecca teased. "Why do you suck so badly at video games, Y/N?" The blonde had asked. "I've never played before until I met you. So I am still quite inexperienced with these games.." I explained. I've only known Rebecca for nine months now. She saved me from a gang of bandits. Ever since, we've been best friends, and I couldn't be happier. Actually..I think I may even be in love with her. But, I don't think Rebecca is into girls. Is she..? Even if she was, she doesn't seem like she'd be into me. However, she hasn't said anything about that yet..so I may still have a chance with the girl! "Y/NNNN. Heyyyy, I'm talking to youuu!Get your head out of the clouds already!" "Oh. sorry Becca, I was thinking." "About?" "How I'm gonna kick your ass next time we play video games!" "Heh, you're on!"

Time skip

After a whole day of Rebecca beating me into the ground, not just with winning her games, but also throwing me so many insults, we went out onto a hill near her house. It was a big hill, and you could see the beautiful town of Blue Garden. You could even see the Starlight Guild from her. It was nearly midnight, and the sky was beautiful with dazzling stars and tiny planets that looked like small dots. It was brilliant. But, what makes it better is seeing the constellations with Rebecca. Oh, wouldn't this be a perfect place to ask someone out, or even propose to them. If only I had the courage to-

"Y/N. This night sky is pretty and all, but I need to tell you something." Rebecca cut me off before I could actually finish with that thought. "Rebecca, I have something to ask you." "Want to say what it is on 3?" "Sure."

"Alright, on 3..."

"1.."

"2.."

"3.."

"I'm in love with you, will you go out with me!?"

"I actually cheated in that last game and it's been killing me not to tell you!"

We both looked at each other with wide eyes. Both saying two very different things. Two things on a totally different subject.

"Uhh..." I didn't know what else to say. I just confessed to Rebecca about my love for her and asked her out and she just confesses that she cheated in a stupid video game?!

"I'm sorry about cheating in that last game..but other than that..you're in love with me? Really?" She asked, her voice lowering with every word. "Yes..and I've realized that for awhile now. I'm sorry for not telling you sooner. But, I needed to get that off my chest. It's okay if you reject me, or don't feel the same way. It's just I've been dying to tell you and-"

I was in shock. My breath hitched. Rebecca was kissing me on the cheek with her eyes closed. My heart was beating fast, and my eyes were opened wide. I knew, from then on, that I'd remember this forever. "Yes, I will go out with you. I love you Y/N.."

Time skip 3 years

I was taking Rebecca to the hill where I had first confessed my love to her and asked her out. The same spot where she told me she loved me too..

It was the same perfect sky as it was 3 years ago. Same time, almost midnight. The same exact stars, brilliant and dazzling. And lastly, the same beautiful women..who I hope to marry one day.

"Rebecca, I have something to ask you. And yes, I already know you cheated on the last round of that game you won earlier. But, It's not about that." This seemed to be going just like it did 3 years ago..

"Yes. I will marry you!" But I didn't..even ask the question yet. How'd she know? "I'm not an idiot, you dummy! I heard you in the bathroom this morning talking to yourself in the mirror about how you were going to ask me to marry you. It was honestly so cute and heartwarming!"

Heh, so she knew..wait..does this mean I'm going to marry the woman I love most?! Damn, I really am lucky. This time, I didn't have Rebecca kiss me on the cheek. I leaned in and kissed her on her warm, soft lips. "I love you Becca..I'll make sure to love and protect you for as long as I live.." I spoke my true words and feelings. What I felt for her was nothing that I have ever felt for anyone else before. She was different. Very different. And I liked that.

And with that, our fates were sealed.
