"Good.. good. Drive by acting, you are all elderly people angry that someone overtook them in their lane. Go!" Sikowitz announced.
"Get out of my lane!" I shouted at the nearest person to me, which just happened to be Cat. I made a honking noise, pretending there was a steering wheel in front of me.
"Ava, that's not how you do it. You need to sound like an old person." Sikowitz said, in between laughter.
"Shuddap ye ol' man! Get outta' mai lane!" I said, shaking my fist at him.
"That's more like it!" he said enthusiastically, before 'driving' off to check on the others.
So far, this was the best school I've ever been to. Things here were so crazy that it made sense.
"Yung man, whoddu think ya are?" I scowled, my face scrunched up. Beck, the person I was addressing it to, immediately responded.
"Who d'ya tink ya arr?" he scowled back at me.
"Okay, now you are monkeys who's pants are on fire!" Sikowitz yelled.
A bunch of 'ooh ooh's and 'ah ah's were heard throughout the class. People were viciously pointing at their pants and jumping around like they were trying to get the fire out.
This school truly was unusual.

Jade, please don't be angry at me! I didn't mean it.
Mood: Guilty 😖
I sat down at Jades table with my lunch. I sat at the opposite end of the table in case she tried to do anything.
"I'm sor-" I tried to apologize, but was immediately cut off.
"Not your fault."
"I didn't mean to and he was- wait, not my fault?" I asked incredulously. Jade didn't forgive anyone.
"Look," she said,"You're the only person who I can actually stand that I would like to talk to. I can't stay angry at you for long."
"Who are you and what did you do with Jade?" I asked, backing away, kind of scared.
Jade rolled her eyes at me, and punched me in the side, causing me to flinch. She had a strong punch.
"There's the Jade I know." I said with a smirk on my face.
"I already regret accepting your apology."
"I regret being your friend." I said with a grin.

"What are you guys doing for the spring showcase?" I asked the rest.
"Cat and I aren't going. We're going to poke strangers with sticks in their kidneys." Jade replied, not bothering to look up.
"She said that if I need her to drive me to the mental hospital, I have to go with her and poke people." she giggles.
"Why do you need to go to the hospital Cat?" Robbie asks.
"Yeah. Why does the mental girl need to go to a mental hospital?" Rex asks.
Cat gasped at his statement. She pointed at Rex and her hand started shaking.
"What's that supposed to mean?" she asked, offended.
"Beck?" I asked, wanting to steer away from where the conversation was going.
"Not going. I'm meeting with my dad's friend's daughter." he said coolly.
Upon hearing that, Jade stabbed the fork through her lunch, going through the food and breaking because of pressure when she forced it into it. Everyone jumped back at the sudden outburst.
"Did I allow that?" Jade asked with a dangerous undertone.
"She's only-"
"Is she pretty?" she asked.
"Why do you care? You broke up with me." he retorted. This wasn't going in the direction I wanted it to go.
"I care about how she's going to break your heart." she smiled with a malicious grin on her face, looking him in the eye, before storming off.
"She's scary." André said, shivering.
Beck laughed in response. He jerked his finger in the direction she stormed off in.
"Her? Are we talking about the same person?" he asked, smirking.
"Dude's right. That is one scary chick." Rex interrupts.
"I'm on Beck's side here. She isn't that scary." I said.
"That's because you guys went out on a date." Cat said, before slamming both hands on her mouth, trying to keep herself from saying anything.
"It wasn't a date."
"Not really."
We stared at each other in confusion. I pointed my finger in his direction and then mine,
my hand making a weird sign."We're not-" I said.
"She's my-" he said.
We looked at each other, weirded out.
"Okay, we need to talk." I said, dragging him over to the side.
Once we were behind a pillar, I let go of him. I made wild hand gestures.
"What was that about?" I asked.
"Play along." he said to my oblivious self.
"Why?" Confusion was plastered across my face. We agreed that we went as friends.
"It's to get back at Jade. I want to get back at her for a bit." he said, nudging me playfully.
"No. I'm not helping you destroy one of my friend's life, or to toy with me." I said, disagreeing.
"I'll do anything you want for a week!" he pleaded. I contemplated for a second.
"Why me? There are tons of other girls in this school." I asked softly.
"You're special." he said.
"Anyways, we'll fake date for a week. You don't have to do anything you don't want to." he said quickly.
"Fine." I said, agreeing. What? He was my friend too, and he volunteered to do anything I wanted for a week.
"Starting tomorrow." he said, winking at me. Oh lord, what did I do?

Is it bad to act and pretend to do something to hurt others feelings but to gain out of it?
Mood: Confused 🤷♀️
I updated my page with another status update. My phone buzzed, just as I was about to put it down. I received a text message from Beck, apparently.

rmb, we start tmr. don't forget.
Yeah, and you do anything I ask you to for a week ;)
I closed my phone, ignoring all of my phone notifications. I had to practice. Tomorrow was the start of an act.
