Tomorrow Is Monday/ Monday Morning

   Shine' s Pov:

   I went back to where Sunny, Sun Drop and I were sleeping. I must have had a sad look on my face because Sunny gave me a look.

   "Shinelight being frustrating?" She whispered. I nodded.

   "I need you to convince Sun Drop to stay away from this place, and you can go to," I paused. "If you want. I would, if I could. But I can't, I'm sorry," I said. My head was down in shame the whole time.

   "What? Why? Are you ok Shine?" Sunny asked. I felt my eyes watering up. It wasn't right for a guy to cry, much less the deputy of a clan. But I didn't care, even Sun Drop woke up she wouldn't judge. It all came out.

    "I thought I loved Starlight. I even put her in my passage, but she's so impossible, and... and..." I sobbed.

   "Was is it Shine?" Sunny asked. She was at my side now.

   "Starlight and I were fighting and she's gonna send a 'special' troop for me in the morning. I'm sorry I dragged you into this. Sun Drop has to go, we can't be without a leader. But you, you have to go to because I can't be without you. I don't care how loyal you are, and I know you are very loyal. But I can't risk you losing your life," I told her. The tears kept flowing.

   "Mr. Top Hat can stay, I know we both love that little horse plushie," Sunny said. I slightly laughed.

   "He's to important to you. If anything happens, you'll have him. Oh, and I'm not wearing my mask tomorrow. That can be for Sun Drop, now get your rest. Tomorrow, is Monday," I said. And Sunny woke up Sun Drop and they both went somewhere, away from me. Once they were gone, I slept myself.

The next morning aka the Monday Morning part of this chapter

   I woke to the sounds of screeches from what sounded from the sky. It suddenly dawned on me that it was Monday. I gulped. I put on my bow, (Sun Drop had my mask) and my scarf and my tail armor. I also put on some elf armor for my legs. I went outside to find the screeches.

   When I got outside, it was really hot already. The screeches happened again, and an arrow hit an inch away from my foot. I flinched. I looked up.

   12. 12 eagles flying about me. They had circled around me, so when I moved, they moved their circle around me again. I wasn't fast enough to shoot an arrow, but I managed to dodge them until they ran out of arrows. I laughed and shot an arrow, and that eagle fell.

    The other eagles didn't even hesitate to see if the eagle I shot was alright. They flew off, as fast as their wings could carry them.

   I had another arrow aimed at the defenseless eagle. I checked the name tag. In was in fact, Starlight. I didn't even say a word. I handed her the sword I had taken from her when she was first in my room the morning when all this began.

   "Your sword. I'm sorry for taking it," I said. She took it gladly, but she left without a word.

   I can't believe I'm saying this, but could this be the beginning of Shinelight coming back?
