Sunny' s Pov:
"What are you talking about answers?" I asked, clutching Purple even harder than I was before.
"Who started this War, and why?" The Boy Behind The Counter told me, like it was the most obvious thing in the world.
"First I need answers!!! Who are these people?" Purple yelled next to me. I looked at her, a little stunned she would say anything.
"Whoa, feisty!" Somebody yelled around the room.
"Shut up! Hey fox man, answer me!" Purple said. This time I was really stunned.
"Fine. These are the people that couldn't decide on a side. They were forced into hiding, and this is where we went," The Boy Behind The Counter said. Well that explained their clothing. They were neither dark nor light. I was surprised he would answer to such a little girl.
"Ok. Sunny knows what started the war. I don't though," Purple said. I sighed.
"Fine!!! Look, this guy named Darn Shadow wanted power, and I guess wanted to take over Jamaa, and he saw our clan as a threat so he wants to take us down so him and his clan could rule over," I said. Everybody looked at me wide-eyed.
"Good to know. We are going to keep you here. Once somebody from your clan shows up, we will give you back. We did the same with the other clan. We are seeing how strong you are, and how sympathetic you are, as a clan," The Boy Behind The Counter said.
"Ugh! You can't just hold us here hostage!!! Who do you think you are?! You guys aren't even a clan! Why would you care about us? You aren't a clan, your just a weird group of jammers who were to scared to pick a side!" I burst out. Everybody gasped.
"As punishment for your actions, we will question this little girl for more answers on things we need. We only wanted the one thing, but now I guess we can take more!" The Boy Behind The Counter said.
"No! Take me not the little girl! And if you want to question me I have the right to have a witness!" I shouted. The Boy Behind The Counter agreed. I took Purple as my witness, but not because I wanted her to be there, but because I needed her safe.
I jam a grammed Sun Drop and she was on her way, honestly she seemed pretty calm. That was one of her best traits. I told her the password to write in the paper was pet giraffes.
"Ok, name?" The person questioning us asked.
"Yellow Petal. And this here is Sun Ray," I said, pointing to myself and then Purple. I just came up with that name out of nowhere.
"Ok... we have three main questions... What do you think of the war?" The seal asked us. I rolled my eyes.
"It's bad. Can I go now?" I asked. I didn't want to give him any specific answer, these people could use it against us.
"Just 'it's bad'?" The seal asked. I nodded. He shrugged.
"Ok next question. What do you think of this group we have formed?" The seal asked. I froze stiff. My real answer would get me in trouble, and a fake answer would make me questioned more.
Purple and I were just waiting for Sun Drop. Waiting for our rescue.
"I've come to collect someone," I heard Sun Drop' s voice. I quickly jam a grammed her Purple and my fake name.
"Who?" The Boy Behind The Counter asked. He didn't even question how she got in.
"Yellow Petal and Sun Ray," Sun Drop answered. The seal shoved us out the door into Sun Drop.
"Sunny, fake names? I thought you were better than that," The Boy Behind The Counter said. He closed the entrance door. He had a disappointed look on his face, and he was shaking his head.
When Purple and I got back, Purple went straight to sleep. So did Sun Drop. I stayed up thinking.
Why would The Boy Behind The Counter be disappointed in me?
