"I am your leader, Sun Drop,"

"And I am your deputy, Shine," I said. My leader sitting on a princess r done and me sitting on a stone throne. No Shine is not a girl's name. It's in fact a boy's name. I looked it up in the Chamber of Knowledge and it was Greely' s grandfather's name.

"Now, I know we have been together a long time. Sunny, our head apprentice, the three kits. And of course the hunters. We have been great on meat, turkey, squirrel, the occasional deer, but now, it's time to get serious," Sun Drop said.

"Um, question first. Why must you always say the I am your leader stuff before each clan meeting?" The strongest kit Firefly asked.

"I don't know, it just sounds good, anyway, we have an emergency on our hands!" Sun Drop said. The whole clan gasped.

"Before I say, we need our hunters to go on a three day hunting retreat in the Temple of Zios. Currently the forest is not safe. No arguments, understood?" Sun Drop asked. The hunters were hesitant or first, but agreed.

We were a pretty strong clan. Been together a year now. We are loyal, only our medical cat leaving us. Some of us should find one. A pretty small clan too. Only 15 of us. Sun Drop, three kits, six hunters, four apprentices, and me.

"Now what's the emergency?" Sunny the head apprentice asked.

"I just want you to know, you to Sunny will be going on the hunting retreat," Sun Drop said. She nodded.

"Just tell us already!" The head hunter said.

"Fine. We have an enemy clan," Sun Drop said. We all gasped.

"Kits, you are dismissed. Apprentices all except Sunny you are dismissed," Sun Drop said. The kits and apprentices went to their rooms.

"What? What clan? How did this happen?" Sunny asked.

"I saw it in Jamaa Township, somebody saying something about a dark night clan. I buddied the leader, Dark Shadow, to keep an eye on him. I went to the den acting like I was going to join the clan. Then I finally broke and yelled 'You'll never defeat Light Clan!' and left," Sun Drop explained.

"This is horrible. Are you sure our clan should go out hunting?" Sunny asked.

"Yes. That is why I am sending you to the Temple of Zios," Sun Drop said.

"Ok, hunters, you go. Fish will be our main food, Sunny you stay for a little while longer, none of the Dark Night clan should know you are with us. Just don't mention anything about a clan, got it?" All the hunters nodded. Sun Drop sure did seem scared. On the inside. I could tell.

"Why do you want me to stay?" Sunny asked.

"Last minute training," I said. Sun Drop nodded.

"I'll be drawing the clan' s battle plans," she said. I escorted Sunny outside to our training quarters.

"Are you sure I am ready?" Sunny asked.

"Your the most ready fox apprentice I know," I said. I was like her father. Sunny came to the clan two days after it had started.

"But I'm not an artic wolf or normal wolf like the others," she said, worried.

"What matters is not your animal, nor your clothes. It's the spirit you show," I said. Sunny smiled and nodded.

"Now, let's train. Turkey, right flying for the cave," I said. Sunny quickly grabbed the plushie in front of the cave Sun Drop had set up for us. Sunny carried the plushie over to me.

"Very nice, very nice. You can follow the other hunters now," I said. And off Sunny was to The Temple of Zios.

I made my way back up to the throne room in the Crystal Palace.

"Well, it's just you and me," Sun Drop said, smiling. We had used to be together, but we broke up because it was ruining our focus.

"Sun Drop. That's over now. We need to focus on battle plans, I'm going to my room to lay them out for the kits," I said.

"Oh come on Shine. Have a little fun, can't we get back together?" She asked, stepping off her throne.

"No," I said sternly. "For the sake of the clan," I said.

"Then the kits aren't going to battle," Sun Drop said angrily.

"They need to, what if somebody comes to the den?" I asked.

"The den is locked," Sun Drop nearly yelled.

   "It's happened before!" I shouted.

"Now, they are coming," I said, and left to my room.
